St Peter's Catholic Church
This was a lively catholic church in the centre of Gloucester. It appeared to be a URC church from the outside but became evident it was a catholic church. There were very many nationalities/backgrounds represented here. Philpino, South Asian, Latin American and Southern Europe all represented strongly as well as local British - and the church was packed full on sunday morning. Service length was 1 hour exactly with a mass being the main part of the service. Accommodating but after the service everyone seemed to leave without much talking/conversation, though a small number did gather outside for conversation afterwards.

Deacon Robinson (Mr Robinson as I knew him when he taught art at St Peter's on Stroud Rd) used to revel in aggressively rubbing his hands through the boys' hair if they had gel in it, including my own on many occasions. He'd do this in front of the entire class, it was utterly mean and dehumanizing, never ever forgot it or him all of these years later.

Superb.. Divine ... it's a great blessing that God gave a chance to attend a holy mass in this beautiful church. What an amazing interior, well maintained! Fr.Liam parish priest is a very nice person. Following all government rules the stewards were so kind even we didn't booked for the Sunday mass they gave us a seat near to the altar. The altar itself is a big wow!.. Thank you Jesus once again .

A lovely church with a formal service. Priests are friendly and welcoming. Love the little card and gift shop, a lovely addition. Friendly congregation too.

Glad church is now reopened for services.Congregation is small due to safe distancing, but that is what is required.Big shout out to people who help to make the services happen ie Lynn & Chris + others. Not forgetting resident priest Monsignor Liam & supporting priests.Lovely to see everyone.God bless all.

It is a very good and spacious place to pray. It is accompanied with benches where groups of 8 could sit, However if there is little children it could 9.The tabernacle is placed north east from the entrance. The groto ofSt. Mary :it blesss the whole church as the is the cross to the left and a statue of Joseph to the right. The wine and bread are consecrated by the priest. Fr. Liam has been in charge of the church for more than 10 years.It has been a great honour to attend the divinic grace of jesus christ. Additionally the is painted glasses which also represent s the wars and Jesus's life, death, resurrection.

Attended holy mass celebrations here during our visit to Gloucester in Gloucestershire, England UK. Church volunteers are so welcoming and helpful. Will be back to visit again.
