Very friendly staff. Waitrose produce always higher quality than the other major supermarkets. The store is on the smaller side, but still has a coffee shop. Gotta love those free lattes.Update - October 2023. Coffee shop now gone, but still a lovely store with free parking, great produce, and friendly staff.

I’m so disgusted by the way I have just been treated. My mother and I went shopping in Waitrose, we got to the checkout and the lady serving us was asking for my Id for 2 bottles of rose! I’m a 16 year old girl I was repeating to her that I was underage and it wasn’t for me. My mother is going to a dinner party tonight and wanted two bottles of good wine. I’m so dissatisfied by the way we have been treated Waitrose sort it out! you have just lost 2 loyal customers.

A clean and welcoming supermarket, with friendly staff (thanks for your assistance Angie). Pity they closed their little coffee cafe shop. Parking is adequate and straightforward. Suggest visiting during quiet times for a pleasant shop.

Depleted shelves - no Jersey Royals or any small potatoes. No white burger buns. No potted vegetable plants to grow other than very hot peppers, tomatoes sad aubergine plants for £5. Bit disappointed.

Lovely beach and dig friendly all year, new addition of rocky the talking parrot outside the cafe. Fantastic local icecream, a must ! Sadly the Motorhome site has now gone and no intention of permitting vans to stay in the car park. What a shame, it will be sadly missed :(
