We pop down here a couple of times a month. In terms of location, isn't too hard to find nor to distant from the local shopping parks. The selection of goods isn't as varied as before but still has all the standard things you need. The cost of some of the items can be on the higher side but it's pretty standard to us.Staff are helpful when asked.Pretty good for what's needed.

There is a great selection of hard to find asian ingredients here, the choice of product has reduced since being taken over by the new owners however. There is also great disparity in pricing of items, some things are much cheaper than the small selection of similar products you can find in regular supermarkets. That being said other, more common, items are extremely overpriced. For example, a 207ml bottle of seasame oil was £11.20 and was put in the trolley without checking price tags, the same item is available in Asda around the corner for £3.20. Same with Oyster sauce, £9.80 here or £3.50 for the same product in Asda. This is a good store for unusual and harder to find ingredients but it is worth double checking prices and shopping around for more common ingredients, some prices are totally unjustifyable.

I think if you are reading your review, I think you are curious like me to see if this was seewoo under a Japanese name or was it a completely new store under new management! There was only one way to find, and that was to visit! In short, from summary, it felt like Seewoo with a new name! First of all,the shop uses the same colour and they still use the same branding. In short: it is just another similar supermarket with a Japanese name! All these oriental shops are all the same and within this area, there are 2 other similar stores!Read on if you want to learn more.Being a Japanese branded name company and actually love Japanese products, I have the experience of going to real shops in Japan and back in England, shopping in the Japan Centre in London. In short, it felt more of a generic super market rather than a proper Japanese store. So I felt it was a disappointing experience. I have taken some photos of the store so you can see for yourself. It would be good to hear what the business has to say. I want to know if you are going to be showing more products from Japan. If I missed this, can you tell me where I can go in your store and I will amend the review accordingly!Location: its location is easy to find as I have been there for years, but I can see for the newcomers, it can be a bit confusing how to get there.Parking: I went when it was quiet so there was a lot of space, but it is not the biggest car park. It wasn’t too clear if the car park under the car park was still accessible. There are no clear exit signs, so I drove out the way I came in hoping there was no car coming in. It was awkward.Prices: prices are similar to wherever you go.Food and range: it is a big store so I am sure one who would find everything they need. It did look empty in some places. Despite having a look, we still walked out buying something. I would be interested to know more about their wagyu beef, but sadly, it was empty. It was early August, but there was no indication when. As someone who would be interested to buy this meat, it would have been good if they indicated the best day to go to buy…like only available on Saturday.Anyhow, if you enjoyed the review, smash a like button. I am not paid for it and you hitting it does not mean I get money in any way and I am not endorsed by any company or google. I use the like button to gauge if people think my info is useful. I write family reviews as I have kids, so my reviews are based on where I go with them and I purely write reviews with thought it may help you. One day, it would be great to pay…but sadly after doing google reviews for years, or you get nothing! Tough times!

Rubbish…. Taken over See Woo and still using their trolleys. Overpriced wholesale catering products by 80%. No live seafood anymore. Only matter of time before bankruptcy. Ended up walking out buying nothing. Lucky to have 1 star.**********************************************Have always visited See Woo for catering and home use. Spent thousands of pounds per year with the company.Only allowing 1 member per household? Losing out on sales in this department with me. I could see many other frustrating customers, as most customers visit via cars/vans. Very disappointed with this, from a high star rated down to 1 star. Visited “DUC TIEN” instead.

We just went to SeeWoo… and it was the saddest experience ever. SeeWoo was glorious before and packed with full of delicious things. It is now almost completely empty with nothing to buy… 90% of the freezers are empty… shelves are filled with the same noodle… it looks like a Soviet store!Don’t waste your time, go to the Asian supermarket around the corner or head to Chinatown!I hope SeeWoo will regain it’s former glory…

A bright, well organised and stocked Chinese supermarket. Everything is fresh and at a very reasonable price! The store and not crowded at all and have a wider range of choices than the branch in Chinatown. Would highly recommend if you need to shop for groceries! Only downside is that it doesn’t have luosifen 螺蛳粉

If you are into oriental cooking then this place is a real Aladin's. And cheap too. My favorites are the XO sauces and the best spicy saté sauce ever....Jimmy's peanut sauce

Went there yesterday and whole store was empty. It seems that it has been like this since last month and I was told that there's was issues with getting the containers into uk. Anyway saw discounted milk tea and we bought a lot, just realised today that they are all expired. Look at the small print there. They should not be selling this. Just careful when buy 'discounted ' items. Such a disgrace and I don't want to travel 20miles just get a refund. Won't be visiting this place for now.
