Short Stay Marazion Car Park
If you plan to visit St.Michel’s mount, AVOID to Park at this place. You will mostly spend more than 3 hours at the castle and garden. More than 3 hours mean FINED without any chances to paying extensions. Expected to pay at least £60 or more +initial £4.50 as your parking charge, even if you tried to pay more before you leave. If you cannot do a very quick visit, PARK AT OTHER PLACE. Totally ripped off.

On Nov 6, 2022, my wife, our younger daughter and I drove here from St Ives. We skipped two-long stay Marazion Car Parks before arriving at this smaller and more convenient one to walk from the beach to the causeway to St Michael’s Mount.

Beware of penalties here. I didn't see any signs, stopped for a few minutes and drove out. Received a first reminder over a month later with a £100 fine, original PCN not received (or not sent?). Be very careful parking here, lot's of negative reviews ablut this car park on here, I can see why.

Don't park here. Very quick to sting locals 100 quid parking fine.We used the park app and can only assume the payment didn't go through, because we received a fine. We stayed 50 minutes while we grabbed a coffee to support local business. We explained this as an appeal, but Nope happy to sting an elderly person a huge sum they cannot afford over a genuine mistake.This is one local business you shouldn't support!!

AVOID PARKING HERE. It is a tourist trap. As most of the tourists, majority of you won't have the time to read all the stupid rules and park accordingly. So there is mostly likely you will be charged for some ridiculous fault and a £100 fine will land on your doorstep.

DO NOT PARK HERE! Initial Parking is the company that runs this parking lot and they will charge you a £100 fine for NO REASON AT ALL. Their machines frequently malfunction and they look to punish tourists especially as they refuse to respond to emails or inquiries through their website. They have over 100 1 star reviews on Google. DO NOT PARK ANYWHERE INITIAL PARKING OWNS THE PARKING RIGHTS.

Avoid like the plague. We parked, displayed a ticket, had a friend with us who displayed her disabled badge which should give us 1 hr extra parking. I have been fined £60, unfortunately I had disposed of the ticket which would have proved my innocence.

As car parks go this one is AWESOME.It looks nice with all the wooden fencing and planters.The ability to pay electronically.The wonderful idea of measuring out the car parking spaces and separating them.All of these things make this a great place to park.

Short Stay Marazion Car Park
Good option for blue badge users as it's nearer to Saint Michael's Mount compared to the Long Stay parking. The only issue is that blue badge holders need to pay as well. Visiting Saint Michael's Mount is already quite disability unfriendly so free parking for Blue Badge would be of help to encourage less able people to visit and enjoy the area.
