Bought a ready made supposedly beef bourgeon meal.Found it absolutely disgusting, full of fatty meat and even bacon!!Gave up, could not finish my portion, and neither could my wife.Extremely disappointed with Pioneer over this, especially when many of their dishes are superb! 1 * for this rubbish!

I regularly shop here and I think it’s fantastic. There’s a great selection of fresh fruit and veg to compliment the amazing range of meats and fish. There’s also some great pizzas and cheeses to buy and even gin!The coffee shop is also very nice but is advise going either late let in the day or early as it fills up fast.All in all it’s very nice and worth a visit.

Totally disappointed with the distribution side of pioneer. Having been a customer for many years and always having a good relationship with Paul. I retired and passed the business over to my son who continued to buy from them throughout the pandemic not hundreds of pounds but something better than nothing. Now they are no longer interested in the small business. Yes Paul did retire unfortunately but he has dealt with your rep but no satisfactory outcome

Me and a freind went here for lunch and we both had the chef special. We where blown away buy how tasty the food was and for such a good price! The selection of John Watts tea was great too. Fully recommend the cafe if your needing a good food stop.

Tried to create an account an account here on 3 occasions, each time I get a message stating the request has been sent successfully and someone will get back to me by email shortly....it never happened! I sent a direct email to see if there was a problem or if our guest house was too small for them to bother dealing with...Still no response. Gave up in the end.

Perfect stop off from the motorway, great cafe with dishes suiting both my 3 yr old and the 77 yr uncle with us! Clean, accessible toilets, and the farm shop downstairs was brilliant. Service faultless in both the shop and cafe.

The best wholesale supplier in Cumbria. We've been dealing closely with them for over 30 years now. Great for fresh meat, excellent service and they make, quite simply, THE best Cumberland sausage available. Period!Can't wait for the new food hall to open, keep up the good work.oh, and don't forget to try the pies fresh from the bakery.
