Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa

Fabulous - beautiful room, comfortable, quiet (at the back, no view but wanted to sleep not look out of the window, gorgeous toiletries (would have liked a shower cap), hairdryer, iron and board, tea etc and lovely shortbread biscuits. Bed really comfortable although pillows a bit hard.Brilliant swimming pool, towels supplied. Hot tub delightful - really friendly as quite small - didn't try sauna and steam room was sadly out of order. Showers spray from all angles!Breakfast was superb! Everything you could think of!Staff were so nice, friendly, courteous and professional.Magnetic key embarrassed itself and had to be reset. It really let itself down.Will go again at the first opportunity.

Possibly the best located hotel in Newquay. Refurbished and still a good quality four star hotel and restaurant.Indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and spa bath.Food good, service was pretty great all round.Fantastic views, hotel car park can be tricky to negotiate (constructed when cars were generally smaller) and over-suscribed, but some street parking for the overflow.Could look out of the big windows all day long, and have done, as the mind goes daydreaming.

My friend and I stayed here for a yoga retreat and we absolutely loved it. The staff were top notch, we had a dinner, bed and breakfast deal which was fantastic. We could order from the same menu no limitations and the food was delicious. The location is the best, we had a balcony overlooking the sea the sound of the waves every day complimented the stunning views. We were lucky to have an Indian summer weekend so the most amazing weather too. We walked into Newquay. Loved it here!

A little out from the centre of Newquay, but don't let that detract or distract you from the fact that this hotel, even in December is wonderful, more so perhaps as out of season it's far less busy and the staff have that bit more time to cater for your needs. Facilities are great, the spa, pool and gym are not huge, but enough. I tried the restaurant tonight and found the choice a little limited, but presentation, surroundings and service were superb.

Wonderful hotel .... staff are extremely good, particularly breakfast room staff. Rooms are immaculate, we didn't have a view, but the public areas all have stunning views of the bay. Spa is good, gym is excellent for a hotel. Location is 5 star - you can walk easily along the cliffs, into Newquay, or to Fistral Beach. We've already booked to go again ... highly recommend and great value.

Three night bed and breakfast deal was a treat and it really was so here. Adults only with gym and spa added to the sense of luxury along with the comfortable rooms, relaxing lounge area with great views across the bay, quality of service throughout and nice touches.

Great location with lovely views from the restaurant. Food in the restaurant is only ok but apparently its a 2 rosette restaurant which they're really proud of but not sure if they deserve it. Breakfast was only OK and there was not enough of it.

Stayed here for a week as I was here for work. Worked night shifts in the wind and rain which was horrible but this hotel was a god send, fantastic facilities and the staff are amazing. Big thank you to all the staff in the restaurant especially Sarah who goes out of her way for you. Will definitely stay here if I ever visit Newquay again.

Fabulous birthday completely ruined by the hotel staff and service, we are a younger couple who saved for a fabulous experience, completely ruined as the hotel has taken the amount I paid of £326, twice, no apology and no immediate refund. On my second call they thanked me for calling as hadn’t bothered to take my details from the first time I called.

Great location right beside the beach.A bit of luxury stay with nice amenities such as pool, sauna, steam, gym, spa & relaxation.Rooms are a bit small.The bed is too close to the tv desk, 2 person could not walk if you want to pass through.A small balcony overlooking the beach and could watch sunset to.Bed is comfortable.
