The Groom Room Dunfermline

I have a 9 year old Lhasa apso which I groom myself usually. Having come back from holiday, she was a bit more matted than usual so I thought I’d take her to a professional groomer. The groom room absolutely destroyed my dog - they completely cut all of her hair off and clipped her tail to the skin. It looks shaved. She looks awful and has been distressed ever since. She’s also freezing, unsurprisingly. They had the cheek to charge me extra for dematting when all they did is just put the clipper on the shortest setting and cut her all over. I’ve never seen such w lazy, unprofessional job in my life. Worst groomer I have ever used, the whole family is furious.

They seem to look after the dog well and the results are always impressive. It is super convenient and the team are always welcoming.

Ladies are lovely - however, our dog was groomed whilst we were non holiday and then came back they had made such a mess of her and she's so good at the groomers. It was like places (feet) were started and then forgotten about halfway through - her entire stomach area had been shaved rather than her hygene panel and so on. I wouldn't recommend i'm afraid, which is a shame as it's so convenient

I will never bring my dogs to the Groom Room in any of your stores again after what I saw in the Dunfermline branch today. I saw one of the staff there grooming a wee long haired dog's tail and she pulled the fur so hard he cried out and she just shouted in his face. She didn't pause or show any concern, she clearly didn't care at all. I am disgusted. As well as causing him pain, she will make that dog fearful of grooming. I dread to think what else they do when no one is looking. Vile.

I have taken my little cocker spaniel here for 3 years now since i rescued her Emma is fantastic with her and gives her the most amazing cut, i would highly recommend Emma and the groom room, great service and a gorgeous looking Corrie when she is finished

Took our Springer for cut when got him home he never moved all day wouldn't go out wouldn't come to any of us totally different dog ended up at vets on the Wednesday red raw underneath had to get steroids and a scrub to try and cool it down this was done by Debbie and definitely will not be back

Millie had a fantastic groom today at the dunfermline groom room. She looked so good that we were stopped several times by people saying what a pretty girl she is and what a nice haircut. Glad to find a good groomer in the area.

Awful service. Caused unnecessary bleeding and intense pain to dog due to unqualified groomer cutting skin and removing fur with unguarded clippers. Deny all liability and remove any photographic evidence from review sites. If you love your dog, go elsewhere.
