Finca - Teacher Led Childcare

Excellent childcare. Caring, compassionate staff, always considering the child's individual needs. A wide range of activities provided covering all developmental needs. My son absolutely loves attending.

Finca truly is an extraordinary childcare setting - I thank my lucky stars everyday that we found this place for our little boy when we re-located to Somerset. This being our third child, we've had quite a bit of experience with various nurseries/pre-schools/childminders and Finca tops them all easily.Emily and Tegan are wonderful - extremely friendly, nurturing and professional and really take the time to get to know each child, their interests and sensitivities. Their whole approach and daily activities, which focus on getting kids outdoors in the beautiful Finca surroundings is exactly what we were after for our child, and lives up to the countryside-living dream I had envisaged! Getting to know the other Finca family members through Emily's events is the icing on the cake. I can't sing their praises enough! Highly recommended.

Our child has some development issues as well has a serious heart condition, so finding a place for him where we feel safe has been a challenge. But finca has changed everything for us! They are perfect for him and he seems to fit in so well.

Finca TLC is such a beautiful place and such a warm environment to have your children cared for in. Emily’s great and we look forward to September!

My daughter has attended Finca for the last year. Emily and Tegan are fantastic with the children. Emily has created a nurturing and very comfortable setting that encourages learning and curiosity. It was everything we were looking for in a childcare provider. The days are well structured and varied with an emphasis on being outside as much as possible and makes the most of the farm setting, which our daughter loves! Finca has played an invaluable part in helping us to raise a happy, calm, curious and intelligent little girl. I can’t praise them highly enough.

I honestly don't think that we could send our son to a better nursery. Our son absolutely LOVES attending, he looks forward to attending and talks endlessly about it at home. Emily & Tegan's ethos runs through every piece of Finca, from the family style eating, to the Finca Family Events, the Chickens, the Outdoors - honestly I couldn't wish for anything more. If you're looking for high quality childcare, where your child will be nurtured as an individual and feel like part of a caring family, whilst exploring nature - Finca is the the place for you.

Now I am no expert with nursery’s and to be honest I leave theses types of decisions to the good lady and normally smile and nod when suggestions for nursery’s are made.However Emily and Tegan at Finca are fantastic, our little lad who can be shy absolutely loves going to Finca and just struts right in each day with a cursory wave good bye.They spend the day doing fun activities that makes me jealous and he always comes home and talks about his day with such affection.This is all I can ask and more. Five stars and more if possible!
