Rochford Hundred Golf Club

A very nice and friendly club. Enjoyed the course which was in very good condition. Well worth a visit.

Visited from out of town, but new I couldn’t get a game being a Saturday so asked in the club house if they had a driving range which they didn’t have, but they said they had nets and a chip up Green. I asked if it was ok and they explained it was busy but if free why not so on I went. No more than 2 minutes on the chip up Green and I was approached by person/member/? Who asked if I was member, I explained my conversation with the club house to him and he asked me to leave. My advise to others who want to visit a friendly golf club find somewhere else this isn’t it.

I often DJ here! It's a lovely versatile venue with plenty of space for dancing, and a bar that's in the same room so it doesn't fragment your guests - but does allow them to talk and get away from the music if they like it quieter. Nice comfortable seating, intimate, classy, open beamed.Food wise this place beats hands down any local competition - I've never tasted such a tasty hot buffet! Food has that 'Home Made' taste, sandwiches with plenty of filling.Manageress Tracey looks after your party planning and the bar staff are very friendly. Greens were fast but true, and being next to an airport overall the courese is pretty flat only 7m change in elevation throughout.Great service from the catering staff.Great condition of the course.Plus great weather all led to a personal best score which was great for me!High end clubhouse too.Recommended.

I thought it was hosted really well and the course was in excellent condition.The catering was of a high standard and well received. I’d be happy to play there again.

Used the social space for an event, staff were excellent, food was great.

Course in really good condition today. The ind made it challenging together with the long rough. If you kept it on the fairways, plenty of run on the ball

The club hosted my daughter's Celebration of Life on the 5th October. First class service from all staff. Hot and cold buffet very good. White table cloths, fresh flowers on the tables, all of which made for a fitting goodbye to a very special person. Thank you

Lets start with the positive! great course, very well maintained, great food good value and the staff were very helpful in the bar area. This unfortunately is where the experience ended for me. Upon retiring early I wanted to learn how to play golf last year and noted an advert for new to golf which included lessons, bronze membership, and use of the 4 holes when a standard had been reached. After completing my lessons in the studio we went for an assessment on a live course, coming from a studio environment to a live course was very different and I failed the assessment. Rather than continuing the coaching I was told to quote go away and practice then come back" With smashed confidence I joined a golf circle who meet at Belfair's. These guys helped me greatly and gave me the boost I needed to continue. I then returned to Rochford and was allowed to play the 4 holes as per my membership. I really enjoyed the summer afternoons playing on my own and with members often asking me to join them even though I explained I was a beginner
