Our son stayed at this b&b recently as he was attending the police college nearby. Unfortunately, the morning after his arrival, he was woken just after 5am by the security man to collect the b&b payment. The security man told my son he had considered calling for the money after midnight but thought my son might be in bed (which of course, he was!) My son had a very important day ahead of him, and this was an unnecessary disturbance which he could have done without. Also, no change was offered to him from the £50 he gave the security man (the b&b fee was £47). We can't understand why the payment wasn't taken on either arrival or departure?

Owners made every effort to allow us to have room until 6pm on day of check out. They also took allot of time to help entertain our child by providing games, dvd's etc. They were also kind enough to supply us with a bag of bread to feed the ducks with in the local park. Very good service for the price.

Its a home from home , great location for business traveller or tourist. Warm , friendly hosts , comfortable , clean ensuite rooms , and a licensed bar for evening refreshment.Good value for money.

This is a lovely b and b. Me and my son Mark stayed there on Wednesday 7th March 2018 as it is only minutes from police college where Mark was doing assessment.Mick who owned the b and b before passing it down to his daughter is great crack and his mate Ritchie is a lovely bloke. Both were real helpful.The rooms are spacious with large en-suites. Beds are comfy and place Is spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast was nice too and you can eat as much as you want.Met Micks daughter Lisa before we left really nice lady.Me and the lads may be going down to have a good drink with mick and Ritchie our type of lads.

excellent b&b, the lady was lovely and also friendly. The rooms were very good and the breakfast was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend it!
