Carbeile Inn
We were looking for a straightforward good value pub meal & this is exactly what we got. Great selection of drinks, large menu & well-cooked food. 3 different types of burgers ordered & all great, including very nice crispy chips. Added bonus of a good dog-friendly beer garden. We visited on a Monday so very quiet - probably much busier at weekends. Pleasant, helpful staff.

After having a wonderful family carvery today, I thought I must give a g treat shout out to the most delicious meal yet again!The Carbeille really is one of the best places to eat, it’s full of the locals and the quality of the carvery has been top notch for years now!A big thanks for setting up a huge square table in the snug for us all and waiting on us so well.Thanks also to the person who found one of our family members purse in the toilets and handed it in, great stuff!

A lovely local pub.Steve and Gayle have done a lovely job since taking over.Food is lovely. The Sunday dinner was very nice. Service and staff are friendly.

I’m going to give a 5 start sue to not eating the food and the potential they could have, I don’t know however my old man visited today for a takeaway roast and upon dealing with the meats their was freshly bought out meat but the lad didn’t want to serve that and refused. However tried to ditch the dry meat end onto him. When he said no the lad absolutely refused to give him the freshly bought out meat and tried to ditch the dry ends on him.Still a 5 as we walked out as not going to eat dry end meat. However I cannot comment on the actual quality of the rest. STOP HIVING PEOPLE OLD DRY FOOD

2 stars purely as the food was OK. Nothing special and pricey but it filled a hole.Sadly the majority of staff are very very young with seemingly little to no training, no customer service experience and 1 in particular has a very bad attitude. Apparently it's acceptable to backchat and call me a liar when I said one of the beers was flat.The carbeile doesn't offer anything that will tempt me back through the doors again. But if you like flies buzzing round your meal, average food, rude staff, overpriced drinks and the noise of screaming kids in the garden, it's your dream come true.

Had a lovley family carvery. Food good. However the landlady is rather rude if you are a small eater and prefer a small carvery. The last time I went the landlord also had a rather inhospitable manner.
