Cherry Blossom Takeaway

This is a cracking takeaway which really surpassed my expectations. Eaten from here twice now and have enjoyed everything but especially liked the Sichuan chilli tofu and prawn toast. Really fresh and flavoursome, highly recommend.

One of the best Chinese take aways in the Bristol area! Literally obsessed!Food is always great and staff are lovely and helpful! Always met with a smile and politeness which goes a long way!

I'm so pleased there is a decent local Chinese finally! The food was delicious with fresh ingredients and great flavours. I particularly enjoyed the Szechuan crispy chilli chicken which had excellent textures and spices. I look forward to visiting again.

This was our first time ordering from Cherry Blossom and we were impressed. Very easy online ordering system, with text message confirmation with pick up time. It was only a 15 minute wait on a Friday night!The menu is extensive and as well as Chinese food includes Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai and Korean dishes.We ordered a half duck with pancakes - the duck was excellent - plenty of meat and already sliced off the bone making it easy to serve. It came with generous amounts of hoisin sauce and cucumber/spring onion. 2 packets of pancakes were just about enough.We also ordered chicken chow mein, beef in black bean sauce, crispy Szechuan chicken, egg fried rice and chicken moneybags. We received free prawn crackers.All the food was delicious but was disappointed with the Crispy Szechuan chicken. It was basically sweet and sour chicken with a little sliced chilli and pineapple. I was expecting a crispy chilli beef type dish but it was neither crispy nor spicy.Minor things that could be improved on:- a more detailed description of some of the dishes- a third pack of pancakes with the half duck portion- as above re the crispy Szechuan chickenOverall I was impressed. As Chinese takeaways go, this is a great one. It was all good quality food, simple to order online and very quick collection time.We will definitely order again and I’m looking forward to trying some of the other cuisines they offer next time.

The food was excellent. Freshly Cooked and traditional in flavours. We really enjoyed our experience this evening. For some 20 years we have avoided the Chinese Takeaway in Long Ashton . We are very pleased to have this new one and we look forward to supporting this business in the future.

I ordered when first open and wasnt impressed. Ordered again a few months later as i thought it was teething troubles as it was a new place and i must say the food ever since has been gorgeous... Salt and pepper prawns are delicious...cant stop eating them. Good luck to you Cherry Blossom !

Excellent Chinese takeaway! Been on the list to try for ages since recently opening but we were waiting for things to ‘bed in’. Overall good experience. Ordering is easy online (you can now pay online or pay in shop with card or cash) - you get a text with the anticipated collection time. All very easy. They were happy to answer questions about the menu over the phone too, very helpful. We all thought the food was tasty, good flavours not greasy. Chicken and cashew nuts was decent. Moreish egg fried rice! We’ll order again from Cherry Blossom for sure.

Easy to order online and they run on time considering they get so busy. This is our 3rd takeaway we have had with them and everything we have had taste delicious and fresh. I realise prices have gone up due to oil and food costs plus gas bills etc so the prices are a bit more than they would have been a year ago and that is true to every Chinese takeaway I have been in but my only small complaint is the price of the salt and pepper chips for the amount you get. We ordered some and they are over £5 per portion and they literally come in a container that you would get a rice in and it was literally a handful. Literally every other takeaway I use is about a £1 cheaper and you get a really good portion wrapped in a paper bag. I would suggest either keeping the same portion size and drop the price a little bit or keep the price the same and serve in a paper bag and bigger portion as this is the case for all other takeaways during the cost of living crisis. That being said they taste lovely.

This was our first time trying Cherry Blossom and we are very pleased. We ordered online before they opened to collect asap, we quickly got a message saying we could collect 15mins after they opened which is impressive. The food was all great, we got free prawn crackers and the lady checked the order before I left to make sure everything was as it should be. We will be going again!EDIT: Have ordered a second time and it was even better than the first! The satay sauce is so GORGEOUS. Will be back again for sure!
