Best staff ever only in Perth (especially the guy from Dundee super helpful and nice to talk to). Super nice to finally get the sunflower, leave and wave notebook from here

there’s this one guy that works there that I just love. I go in there at least 2 times a week sometimes to buy books or just simply gaze in awe of the books and he is always just so nice and helpful and never judges me for simply enjoying the atmosphere of the shop itself. There’s a few times where I’ve bought a book and he’s started a conversation about said book and it’s just made my day that he does his job so well that a tiny interaction made my whole day better. Whoever you are just know you are great.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They love books and local authors so if you want advice on a good read, they are wonderful. It's easy to come out with more books than you planned to buy!

Perth is lucky to have this descent bookshop in an otherwise deserted city where most of its fine shops are gone. Staff are always friendly and quite knowledgeable regarding the books in stock.

The staff are lovely and there is a great selection but the layout is somewhat frustrating. I entered via the shopping centre and didn't realise I would encounter steps inside the store. There is only 3 or 4 but this poses a challenge for pushchairs and wheelchairs. I backed up the steps with my pram but if you were a wheelchair user you would need to leave the store and enter via the street entrance which is frustrating if it is raining, also if you were in the store you may find it difficult to navigate between the stands with the way they are positioned.

Me and my husband go to Waterstones often and our last experience was just amazing! We had the help of someone that was so knowledgeable in what we were looking for, had a very pleasant conversation and it was overall nice! Thank you so much and, needless to say, we'll be back!
