Battery recall requiredTook to Inchcape Macclesfield who didn’t do but did service upgrade said had to be Stockport and booked in there.Took to Stockport, didn’t have parts parts to be ordered and rebooked.Took to Stockport and no parts new service upgrade. Took car for two full days.Returned car uncharged and now with warning lights on and notice saying charge immediately to 100%No explanation given.Reading about battery life every other document says Do NOT charge past 80% to preserve battery longevity.App no longer communicates with car or OHM charger at home.Long conversation three ways with VW techie who would not talk other than through my husband as he is registered first user. Husband in California on work.App appeared to work for about 24 hours. Now no readings coming from car again. Cannot face a further 90 minutes late at night trying to get car to work.Before this latest update all working seamlessly and confident driving car.Now I have hazard warnings and inability to charge effectively overnight at reduced rate unless I wait up until midnight.No help offered.Please call and suggest outcomes Inchcape

We were interested in buying a VW Golf. Steve approached us to see if we needed help. There was no hard sell. Steve was an absolute gentleman. Very genuine, patient, and explained everything as we went along. We bought the car once we had agreed the price of my vehicle for part exchange. He also sold us some Smart Cover for dents, scratches etc.We were very happy with the service we were given and Steve was also backed up by Jamie in terms of the sales agreement and after sales service. Steve even shared his Jakemans menthol sweets with us! Great asset to your company

I had no problems today having my car serviced and MOT Test carried out. However, from my point of view as an engineer, the experience is all a bit too clinical". I feel it would be better if there could be more interaction between the customer and the technical/workshop side of things. Any issues could be explained and demonstrated to a technician rather than simply written down

I actually can’t believe how awful these guys are. Purchased a car back in June, got it home and realised it had been advertised incorrectly and was missing loads of features from the spec sheet. After weeks of being fobbed off when phoning up and emails ignored we asked to return the vehicle, which legally we had every right to do as it was mis-advertised. Jamie initially refused and said he had ‘never heard of this law’ - quite concerning when you’re a manager of a car dealership.After getting head office involved and ‘making their life difficult’ in Jamie’s words, we managed to return the car and were promised a refund within 5 days. Of course this didn’t happen so after chasing it up multiple times, in the end it took them almost an ENTIRE MONTH to finally receive the money back. Leaving us without the funds to purchase a new car.Now, almost 6 months later, we receive a parking ticket and a threatening letter from MID for said vehicle. VW asked for the FULL logbook back upon returning the car and advised us they will sort out the new keeper details, but it turns out they never did this so the car has been in our name the entire time. Either they have done this on purpose to mess with us as payback for making things difficult for them or they are purely just incompetent.Again, phoned up over the weekend to let them know of the issue, was promised I would be contacted on Monday and I have of course heard nothing.I would honestly save yourselves the hassle and avoid them completely. They are dodgy, rude and awful at communicating if any issues arise. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership.

Kurt's excellent communication skills really stood out as he kept me informed every step of the way. His personal touch of sending email videos was a delightful and thoughtful touch. Thanks to Kurt, the entire car-buying process was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
