Been here before and although the staff were lovely and very friendly the food can be hit and miss. I had a carvery bap which was made up of turkey and stuffing and it came with roast potatoes and 2 pigs in blankets as extra plus gravy. The carvery bap was good but the pigs in blankets and roast potatoes must have been sat under a lamp or something for an age as they were so dried up I just couldn't eat any more after trying them. Better luck next time hopefully.

We found this place to be way over priced and the staff didn't have very good customer service skills. I probably won't eat here again as we were disappointed. I gave it 3 stars as we have good memories of our kids playing in the wacky warehouse. We decided to go here for our little boys 1st birthday and with having 2 older girls we wanted to give them something to do and the wacky warehouse seemed appealing to us.We spent £7 pound to get in to wacky warehouse and were told before we entered that we could only play for 45 minutes as they were going to close. The explained to us that they close to the public and let special needs children in to play, we thought this was brilliant and hats of to them for doing this for them. They turn the lights down and turn of loud music so it is easier for the children to play.We went through to the bar area after our time was up and came to order, the lady who served us seemed to be more interested in stocking the shelves than serving us. and when it came to taking our order she didn't once smile or make us feel welcome. The glass she gave me for my wife's wine had a lipstick mark around the rim, I asked her to change it she did, but then told me that the drip marks on the glass were there because the machine doesn't dry them properly.Just to let you know I am writing the review on my food as it wouldn't be fair commenting on the others as they are not here to tell me what they thought. This place offers carvery and at the time I was going to have one, but something else caught my eye, the large mix grill.I asked for it medium rare as I like it to be pink in the middle. when It came to the table it was rare. the sausages on my plate looked and tasted like they had been cooked and reheated. I should know as I have worked as a chef for the past 15 years. The gammon was really falling apart tender the egg was over cooked and the chicken was cool in the middle.the hottest thing on my plate was the onion rings but there was only two,It cost over £3.00 for a pint of john smiths, I nearly fell of my chair.I thought with how small the menu was it would be fool proof but in my opinion they got it wrong. as it seemed like it took ages to get to our table and the place was not busy. When we got curtsy checked I felt like it was half hearted and I felt like if I was to complain it would cause to much fuss for them to sort out.It might have been a bad day for them, I felt like it was under staffed, I did not use the rest rooms so cant comment on them.We wont be going back.

Went for a meal here. Was OK.... the wait time was a bit lengthy for food from menu but carvery was good timing. Ordered buttermilk burger with no mayo.... it came out a bit late about 25 mins and when it turned up it was alright... now I know I said no mayo but the salad that came with the burger was 1 piece of rubbery lettuce and a piece of onion. When asked if all was OK I politely showed them this and expressed that a piece of onion was tight even considering the recessionary times. The polite young lady in the green shirt very kindly went and got me some more onion and agreed it was minimalist portion.Deffo worth a visit though.... Good if you're a blue light member too.

Went with friends to the play area. 4 adults 5 children. We tried to use 2 4 person tables as we are a group of 9 people. The till woman (older woman with a lisp/odd way of talking I’m uncertain of which) came and said we could have one table for the adults, we asked where the children are to sit, she pointed to the other end of the room as some long tables with children’s chairs, so effectively we can’t actually sit with our children while they eat. One of the children is disabled and needs support while eating and to sit down in between playing, young children don’t want to sit isolated on their own but would of had too given what the till woman said. Been coming for years but won’t come back after this experience and will tell friends and family not too either.

1st time trying this establishment, myself and my partner enjoyed the food ,not our usual menu as we like the flaming grill menus but still filled us upThe staff were very friendly and helpful, not sure if we would come again,I had a burger which tasted a bit tough on the outside but tasty nonetheless, partner had hunters chicken she enjoyed it but prefers the hunters chicken skillet on the greene king flaming grill menu.

Food was decent but the reason for my 3 star rating was the facilities. I am a male with a 2 year old. I went in the male toilets to change her nappy. Nowhere to do this. No bin to put the nappy in. In fact there wasn't even a door om the cubicle
