I had the most wonderful day scrambling with Jack in Snowdonia, his guiding skills are exceptional and he’s a really great guy to spend time with, knowledgeable, kind, interesting and fun.

Jack was very friendly, competent and easy going. He designed the day around the needs of the group, and everyone had a really good time. The kids loved it and were inspired to become climbers! Jack was relaxed and also very on it with safety and good practice. We look forward to climbing with him again when we are back in North Wales.

I had great sessions with Jack. we climbed A Dream of White Horse together and did some Trad and rescue training. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a guide or instructor!

We went for two two-day scrambling trips to Tryfan, Ogwen Valley and did two grade 3+ scrambling. We had some experience in hiking but no real experience in scrambling. Starting grade 3+ scrambling was scary at the beginning but got exciting with time. I felt very comfortable and completely safe with inspired guides. I would love to go again with Inspired Guides and it's my pleasure to recommend them highly.

Jack led the expedition part of my Mountain Leader Training course in October 2022 and it was a pleasure to work with him. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I found his story about how he chose to be a mountain leader trainer really inspiring. At the end of the course I followed him on social media so I could maintain a connection. He ran a competition sponsored by Montane on Instagram and I was really fortunate to win the prize which was a day's guiding and a Montane jacket. I was really excited about the day and we went to the Llyn Ogwen area and we did the grade 2 Idwal Buttress scramble. Jack made sure I was safe throughout and despite me never doing a grade 2 scramble before, we smoothly progressed through the climb. Jack is really easy to talk to and we had a good conversation all day. We descended down an easier scramble route and Jack gave me some tips on how best to lead others during a scramble. He also shared some suggestions on where I could get some great QMDs for my ML assessment. Would I recommend Jack? Of course! Would I use him again? Most definitely!

Jack took me out scrambling in North-Wales for a day, and I had an amazing experience. I tend to struggle on my feet due to vertigo with exposure, but he was very assuring and attentive, helping me improve my movement on rock and stability over the day. I ended up feeling a lot more confident and safe on the rock, and wish I could've done another days' worth with him! Will definitely book him again next time!

What an amazing experience! Jack is a natural not only when it comes to climbing but also teaching!! I can't recommend him enough. He is thorough and super encouraging to really believe in myself!! His course also offered a wide range of climbing types from sport climbing to trad and top rope climbing. We were super lucky to get great weather in Snowdonia and tried both rock and slate so really couldn't wish for anything better!!

We had a really fun time trying out an into to more advanced scrambling with Jack. At first, we didn't know what to expect, but Jack planned everything with us before we went out for the day, making the day exactly what we wanted. He's a really friendly guy, making the day super fun and enjoyable. We liked it so much that today we went back for a second session to learn more skills and rope work. Despite some terrible weather, it was another great day. We're excited to book more sessions with Jack to improve our skills and knowledge. We totally recommend Jack for his great skills, ensuring we always felt safe and making it a really fun experience!
