The Quarters Barbering Academy

Highly recommend the course for anyone that is looking to start a career in barbering. Jake and Jack are very good mentors with great patience and knowledge from years of experience.The course uses utilises a free hair cut system as appose to you cutting fake doll model heads, which allows for growth in the other aspects of barbering such as customer service etc.My course was based at the Northampton branch which is a modern spacious facility, it had all the equipment necessary for all of the students to carry out work. The mentors are also happy with you bringing your own equipment should you wish to practice and familiarise yourself with those instead.Overall a very enjoyable and fun 2 weeks, and certainly felt like it was very beneficial being able to get so hands on within such a short period of time.

The quarter barbing academy was a great course for me as it was very full on - no messing about barbering, we went straight into it. The tutors are there to help you and guide ... all thanks to jacks who took every moment to teach well it was really an eye opening

Had the best 2 weeks on the course in Birmingham, Jack’s knowledge and support was amazing, would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to start a barbering career! I had never cut hair before going and now starting my journey! Many thanks to Jack and the team!

This establishment is NO longer trading. Do NOT place an order for any of their courses as the academy has closed down. We arrived for the course as planned and the owner and/or staff are no-where to be seen. We spent almost 2 whole days waiting to see if someone would arrive but nothing. The email address is dead, there is no answer from any of the phone lines, and the address where the course is meant to take place, no longer has any indication that the academy is there anymore. If you have already placed an order to go on one of their courses and are unable to speak to anyone at the business, contact the fraud team of your bank and they will address the matter for you as they did for us. Their website is currently still live and might still be accepting payments so unless you arrive in the flesh to do the course and there is someone there to meet you on the day, I would not recommend making an online payment before you actually have confirmation that they are going to train you there and then. Although we got our money back for the course through our bank(£700), we lost over £500 in hotel and travel costs. To say we are disappointed is a huge understatement. PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION.UPDATE post reply - Just to be clear, the site we were attending was the Birmingham address, but the business website covers all sites and the telephone number on the site was for all the sites, and no one was answering on the day, or the day after. And yes, we did have the correct address, my photos are time stamped. So if the site is trading again, they obviously closed down temporarily and ignored the fact that they had a pre-paid course attendee, and didn't offer either a refund, or a rescheduling of date. Either way, very poor business ethics.

Such an amazing experience and a great “hands on” course. Can’t believe how much I learnt in the space of two weeks and truly believe I’ve built the foundations of a new skill and can’t wait to keep building on it.I can’t thank them enough for helping me create a new career path. I would recommend this course to anyone that is looking to get the ball rolling but can’t commit to a 12 week course or a full year qualification, this truly will get you to a standard where you feel confident and comfortable to get yourself out there to progress.Jack is a great teacher who is also very personable and easy going which really helps with the pace of learning, and I really appreciate the time spent with him alongside all the great people I met on the course as well.If you are considering this course and looking for a new career, just take the leap, so much value for a life changing skill.

Not sure where to start really didn’t know what to expect with no experience, took the 10 day deluxe barbering course with no previous knowledge and abit hesitate going into it. Left even more happier than I could of ever imagined I was taught by Jack & he has helped me change my life going forward. I was cutting hair all by myself after I was done with the course 100% confidant in myself. Can’t thank the team enough. Jake is a top guy too. Really recommended if you think barbering is for you. 10/10

This course was life changing!I started this course by never cutting hair. It’s something I’d always inspire to do and become a barber.By the second day I was cutting hair under the supervision of course instructor Jack.Before I knew it, I was skin fading clients multiple times a day, with confidence!I literally owe this to Jack. He is not only a great instructor, he’s a great human as well. He will make you feel at ease throughout your time on the course.I finished the course on Friday and I’ve been offered two jobs in a barbershop since.Do not hesitate and get yourself on this course and change your life!Again, shout-out to Jack. But also thank you to Dale and Conor who popped in the academy here and there to help us out too.

I recently finished my 2 weeks Deluxe Barbering course and I have to say it was the best decision I ever made. Amazing experience, full of fun filled with knowledge about barbering. On our second day of our course we already started cutting hair. Jack which was our mentor is an amazing person and very skilled to teach. I highly recommend the Academy if you are planning to step up to world of barbering or just simply enhanced your barbering skills.
