Having recently engaged the services of Meadow Funeral Directors in Ashton-Under-Lyne, I felt compelled to leave a review.From start to finish, their compassionate, understanding and totally professional handling of all aspects of our funeral arrangements were impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble; they were always on hand to deal with my many detailed requests, and all done with a sense of personal service.The funeral director was at all times, calm, professional and smartly turned out.I would recommend Meadow Funeral Directors without hesitation to take care of all of your needs at what is undoubtably a difficult and stressful time. They removed every element of stress and worry, and for that, I and my family are so very grateful for all that they did to ensure the smooth and professional delivery of a very special funeral service for our dear loved one.

Meadow funeral Directors were excellent during our recent loss of my mother (Ba) and her funeral arrangement. Arron dealt with all the funeral arrangements, he was professional, sympathetic and caring. He made a very sad day into something that our loved one and our family were very pleased with. 5 Star service from the moment we got in contact with Meadow Funeral directors. Arron took a lot of stress out of a very difficult and testing time for my family. They answered all our questions whenever we asked and were always available with clear and concise communication and were willing to go out of their way in my opinion to accommodate. As much as you wish no one has to go through such a tragic event, if you do lose a loved one I strongly suggest you speak to Meadow Funeral Directors. We had a Hindu cremation service and all the staff were more than fully aware of our culture and customs which made a huge comfort in being able to carry out final rituals as we needed. We recently had an unfortunate experience of having to arrange a funeral. I remember walking into Meadow’s and not knowing were to begin. I was met with Arron who quickly lifted the burden of us. Meadows were very professional and went above and beyond all our expectations. They were patient and adapted exceptionally well to all changes requested by us with grace. We have never had to organise a funeral before, so it was quite daunting.Arron from the moment I rang put my mind at ease, he listens to your wishes and is very patient and understanding.The price we paid for the funeral was very competitive without compromising anything.On the day of the funeral it was above and beyond our expectations, they really did us proud.If I am unfortunate to have to arrange a funeral I would not hesitate to use their services again.We were even given a recommendation for the wake as we couldn't decide, which turned out to be great.Thank you from the Ashworth family & Friends

A very well conducted Hindu funeral, culturally sensitive and respectful. Supportive team, knowledgeable in Hindu traditions, with the ability to guide where I needed it. Accommodative of individual requests. Family who were unable to attend in person due to the pandemic, were able to watch the webcast which was streamed easily at a reasonable cost. As a family, we felt well supported at a time of need.

I unfortunately lost my dad very recently and Aaron and his team went further than far and beyond; they could not do enough to help me sort my dad:s funeral which took a lot of pressure off myself. I can not thank them enough and from the bottom of my heart I thank you and your team Aaron .
