Clachan Sands Camping Area
This is not a review of the campsite, as I wasn't staying there, but a beach itself. It is truly beutiful, not as impressive as near-by Berneray Beach, but still well worth a visit. We shared it with the flock of some water birds.

Couldn't believe our luck when we found this place. Gorgeous turquoise ocean blond beach, irresistible for a swim. Levelled out spots for camping with space between each one. A water tap and bins and an honesty box. No toilets. An absolute Gem of a camping spot

This really is a hidden gem, absolutely amazing camping area on some of the most beautiful beaches. Will most certainly be visiting again. The waters are surprisingly warm to so nice for a swim.

Beautiful place for a wildcamp with the added bonus of fresh water tap and a rubbish bin. We'll worth £10 in the honesty box. Bumpy track bit we managed no problems in our 6m motorhome.

Amazing little camping spot. As everyone else has mentioned, no facilities, but there's a public shower at Berneray Harbour, 15 minutes drive. Shower is 1 pound for 7 minutes, so that's a great option if you're camping.

Think I have died and gone to heaven. The perfect campsite of my imagination come to life. Sea, sand, wind, isolation, mountains, peace. Dog happier than me. Sunny weather helps but I suspect rain wouldn't really change things. Will come here every year and for longer.

Amazing stretch of Sands. Free parking too. Great for safe bathing, kite surfing and walking on the beach

Beautiful, never-ending silver sands and turquoise waters. Surprisingly warm, could go in for a swim just in swimming costume, no real need for wetsuit. Dreamy and will be back!!!

Clachan Sands Camping Area
A beautiful area with outstanding views and walks along the miles of beach. There is a bin and access to fresh water, along with an honesty box for donations towards the upkeep of the area.
