Marlin Apartments - Aldgate Tower Bridge
The apartment was spacious and clean. Service was great, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Location was great.

Marlin Apartments - Aldgate Tower Bridge
The apartments are past their glory days. This was my second stay here, earlier one was in 2015 Jul. The property has not seen any improvements in refurbishing since then and it has taken its toll on the sofa beds especially. The kitchen is fully functional and has all necessary utensils, crockery, cutlery as well as hob, toaster, microwave, kettle, dishwasher (noisy) and washing machine (very noisy but a good model).Beds are uncomfortable and shifty. The washrooms were fine. Cleaning was done once during my 14 day stay and needed few reminders. Front desk is helpful and took note of hanger (cupboards have very few in them) requirements after a few chasers. They mentioned it may be renovated soon.Location is excellent as I walked to my office nearby and had the Aldgate East Underground within 4mins walk. Whitechapel underground (accessibility is better than Aldgate East with lifts available after entering) is a bit further away on the other side but not too far (12 mins walk).

Functional...no frills. Great space for London we had a 2 bed/ 2 bath. Kitchen, laundry and big living space were nice. Staff was helpful.

Very, very impressive.Price was really respectable and when I arrived what a lovely place.Very spacious and easy to work in. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone. Can’t wait to come back. Fantastic place.

Old and worn off and located at a rather loud road. One window in our room couldn't be closed, so the wind came in all night. Not the best stay considering the cost.

I had a terrible experience at Marlin apartments The apartments were FILTHY. The apartment had MANY ‘fruit fly’s’ on arrival (which is caused by food). The floor, couch, curtains, walls & sofa bed were grimy and all had stains. We checked in late at night which means there was no manager on site, the receptionist said the manager would be in the morning and to come back down. Just after 9am I went back to reception to complain, but was told by another receptionist the manager will be in after 1pm. After 1pm they tried to accommodate us with another room but yet again the apartment was filthy still with flys and dirt. Explaining to the manager I didn’t feel comfortable staying in the property due to the poor condition of hygiene. The lack of customer service was OUTRAGEOUS! She began to go back and forth with me stating she has flys in her own house and doesn’t see a problem with the apartment. After booking 4 nights we checked out after the first night. We were charged a late check out fee even though we went down to complain before 10:30am and was told the manager won’t be on site until 1pm.I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to stay there.THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR APARTMENT BARLEY EVEN 3 STAR

This should be a 2-star hotel. Its a joke. A couple of points that you should be aware of:Its not as clean, the corridors smell bad and the service is bad. the checkout is at 10:30am!!! No body does that and its clear that they do that to get more money off you! I already spent £2700 for the 14 night stay and you are charging me £30 if I wanted to check out by 12pm? This is a joke and the worst customer experience I’ve had. I will make sure non of our agents ever work with Marlin apartments. THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL. ITS BARLEY A 3 STAR. DO NOT BE FOOLED. GO ELSE WHERE.With the amount I paid you can get a proper hotel with the best service and actually get to checkout late without trying to rob you even more.

Marlin Apartments - Aldgate Tower Bridge
I recommend this apartments to anyone and everyone, just to state Aminur was the person that checked me in and he was very helpful with any questions I had about the booking, he couldn’t be more helpful as he will make your check-in as smooth as possible. Furthermore, the 2 females that were at reception on the 13/08/2023 are genuine stars, I asked if I could have a late check out and it was hard for them as the apartments and fully booked but they still fit me in and pushed it till 1, couldn’t ask for anything better, 10/10 customer service, 10/10 rooms. Everything is a vibe! Thank you guys you’ll definitely see me again!

First of all, the fron desk staff are absolutely amazing. They are very accommodating and attentive. Felt very welcome. The lodation is also great.On the downside, I booked through expedia which showed floor to roof windows in the apartment, that was not the case. The apartments are not surrounded by windows. Our apartment also wasnt very clean. I had to record a video when we walked in to have evidence regarding out deposit. The car park spaces, although probably your cheapest option in the area are very tight. The apartments are very spacious though, but need a deep clean.

Marlin Apartments - Aldgate Tower Bridge
The room was clean however the blinds and curtains were in a state of disrepair, as was one of the wardrobe doors, and the furniture was old and uncomfortable. The kitchen was reasonably stocked with utensils. There was no air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful.
