Elan Valley Hotel
To say this place is lovely is an understatement. From the minute I walked in to the minute I left the hosts went above and beyond to make my stay welcoming and comfortable. They treated us and all other guests like family. Rachel and Lynn you are a credit to yourselves and the hotel and it’s clear to see the love for your jobs and the hotel. The food was lovely and well portioned every night and the merlot was delicious. The rooms were large and spacious and the beds comfy to say I stumbled across this place with work is unbelievable. But believe you me I’ll be coming back in my personal time to enjoy the walks and scenery

We thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal organised by one of a group of friends who had stayed in this hotel previously. It was a special evening good food, friendly staff and smart ,comfortable ambiance.

Elan Valley Hotel
Even the drive up from leaving the M4 is part of the beautiful experience, winding tree lined roads and incredible scenery. Then the welcome as you arrive, it feels like home; well decorated comfortable rooms, ensuite bathrooms and if you feel like company, you will find it in the bar dining area. Otherwise long and scenic walks are just outside. Come in a group or come alone, you will come back!

Wow” is the first word that comes to mind when you visit this beautiful hotel, I was instantly made to feel at home by Rachel and Lyn, you could tell that they both genuinely cared about their guests and constantly delivered exceptional service with lots of smiles, nothing was ever too much in-fact, they would go above and beyond! Outstanding rooms, comfortable beds and definitely the most beautiful interior to a hotel I’ve seen in my life. Food was fantastic, fresh and home cooked every night of the stay with great options on the menus, well done to the chef!Thankyou so much for having me! I was fortunate enough to stumble across the Elan Valley Hotel during a work trip, however I’m planning my return in my personal time too now!Lindz

If Carlsberg did hotels....An amazing find - only wish we were still there! Rachel and Lyn made us feel more than welcome from the start showing us around their beautifully decorated hotel, perfectly located for Elan valley adventures and stargazing sights. The room and bed were sooo comfy and nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate in the restaurant where they provided scrumptious meals that weren't on the menu to accommodate our diet. We only had a night there unfortunately but already felt like family rather than guests when we left. Thanks both for a great break - will be back !

Amazing small hotel with fabulous service.Great location for exploring Elan Valley area. Lovely garden area with plenty of seating to relax with a drink.The hotel rooms are recently refurbished to a very high and modern standard. All amenities we needed in our room.Breakfast was included and was to an extremely high standard.We ate in the restaurant both nights. Food was fantastic. My wife is gluten intolerant and they supplied gluten free options and bread with breakfast and evening meal!Owners, Lyn and Rachel, and their staff made you feel that nothing was too much trouble and that you were to feel like you were at home.Definitely go again.

Stayed one night, wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts Rachel and Lyn made us feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the rooms and lounge areas are to the highest standard. Evening meals and breakfast were fabulous, again no standards dropped. Plenty of secure parking for cars and motorcycles. Will definitely be back

Great welcome from Rachel and Lyn who have done a wonderful job with renovations. We stayed in the self-catering room and were made very welcome in all parts of the hotel. Lovely, friendly place reflecting the nature of the hosts. Please let this be my 'go to' place for quiet get-aways and good walking.

Elan Valley Hotel
My wife and I just got back from a four night stay at the Elan Valley Hotel and couldn't have been happier. We are pretty fussy about hotel rooms, especially cleanliness and were very happy with what we found. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent quality and we ate there on three of the four evenings we were there and wish we hadn't eaten elsewhere on the other occasion! Lyn, Rachel and Rufus the dog were the perfect hosts and always delivered more than we expected. We'll definitely be back!

We had a short break here and it was excellent from the greeting we received to the high quality of the accommodation and furnishings throughout.The food is first class and Lyn and Rachel really look after you.Thanks to both for a great stay.
