Great Pukka pies and nice fresh haddock. Good value for money. Fryer totally honest and said the haddock was fresh and the cod was frozen. Tasted good!

Went here today for fish chips n mushey peas. Spot on the best chippy in york reasonable price. Large fish loads of chips nice peas. Very clean place. Nice friendly owner. Spot on. Will be going again.

Oceans Fish and Chips
Visited yesterday as I was working around the corner. The man behind the counter was full of positive energy and he through is a battered potato for free which was gorgeous the batter was so tasty and was nowhere near as greasy as anywhere I had been before would definitely recommend and I will be going back again. Excellent service!!

USED to be an amazing chippy, it's now twice the price and tiny portions. This expensive chippy was disappointing and tasted horrific the gravy spilled everywhere as lid was not put on correctly wish I could get a refund as I will notify anyone I know to no longer come.

Definitely the best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. The batter was crisp and not too thick. The fish was white and flaky and obviously fresh. The chips weren’t at all greasy and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back.
