I have worked for this organisation for nearly two years and although I had no previous experience of the care industry found them to be an excellent employer. They maintain the highest standards and back this up with comprehensive training. Their clients and their families speak very highly of the company and staff and they have received a number of awards for the excellence of their service.

I have worked for Home Instead for over 3 years now and love my job. I have got great clients who make me smile every single day. The job satisfaction I get when I've made a difference to someone's day is brilliant. They are a great company to work for.

I love working for Home Instead, I see the same clients regularly which lets me get to know them and there support network(, family, friends, district , nurses etc..)really well. I feel satisfied and happy in my job, and part of a team because I work with the family and the people supporting the client. There is always someone to support me if I need to ring or go in to the office, even if it is simply to update the office staff regarding a client.

Prior to working for Home Instead Senior Care, I managed a sheltered accommodation scheme. Home care for the elderly can vary dramatically and often does not meet the mark. I got to know Mark , the Director of Home Instead for the Worcestershire area and was impressed with the quality of the Care Givers that were sent into the scheme. As a result I then decided I would like to work directly for Home Instead as a Care Giver.The standard of training I received was excellent and I love the person-centred approach to care giving. I get the best job satisfaction as I am well-supported in my role by the Home Instead staff. Also it is brilliant to provide our clients with such quality care and support in their homes. The role of Care Giver covers whatever is needed by the client for them to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. My role has covered everything from planting and harvesting broad beans in the client's garden, to enjoying classical music with them, making their personal care more dignified , highlighting safeguarding issues, dealing with medical emergencies and taking time for a chat and a cuppa. From the regular feedback I receive, I know that the clients really value the service we provide. We are part of the family but are also clear on maintaining professional boundaries. Clients know where they are with Home Instead Care Givers.

The care my mum and dad receive is great. Jane is so thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble. She knows all dad's tricks to avoid showering and changing his clothes and succeeds brilliantly, keeping him clean and looking dapper! Mum and Dad love her visits and trust her.
