had breakfast here while waiting for the train. Ordered through app food arrived quickly. nice and quiet in the morning.

The service is shocking. My wife got sprayed in the eye with wine as the server poured. He laughed and walked away instead of asking if she was OK. The food came in different intervals, our friends were almost finished when we got ours. We complained, and it didn't appear to be taken seriously. Everyone seemed miserable.Food is the same price however, the food quality has dropped. We were told we could only get soft drinks with our meals, even though there is two prices, one with soft drinks and one with alcohol.

Visited on a quiet Tuesday evening, when it wasn't particularly busy. 4 of us - ordered first two meals & drinks and then a few minutes later ordered second pair of meals & drinks. First drinks arrived quickly followed 5 minutes later by the food. The second lot of drinks arrived about ten minutes after the first order had been completed, followed by the meals, two half chickens.The meals were ok, nothing to write home about. They weren't particularly expensive. Shipyard pale ale is a good beer and at only £2.80 a pint is good value for money.

First time here. Fabulous period building. Lovely food for lunch, great service...and...ahem... occasional bursts of fruity language from certain clientele. Overall, enjoyable. But I'll choose daytime only.
