a temple to the beauty of magazine design & print. very, very cool shop and a real gem of bath. their curation of magazines is second to none covering many subjects and niches. a visit to magalleria is a visual delight, seeing the beautiful graphic design of the covers of magazines, books and coffee table-esque publications of all kind. the staff are happy to offer advice, context and recommendations. working just round the corner from the shop i like to recommend this place to visitors to bath. they recently moved to the upper borough walls location and have benefitted from the slightly larger space allowing them to show off even more stuff.

The best place to get indie magazines. Magalleria is great for a browse but it’s hard to come away empty handed! The shop owners are so knowledgeable of indie magazine publishing, design and always recommend good publications. If you’re really into magazines, check out their blog too.

An extremely rich selection of magazines on a wide range of topics - the music is perfect to browse books in and the staff member, Amanda, was incredibly helpful with recommendations on textile magazines.

Found this shop by chance and it’s absolutely amazing. We were drawn in by the stunning range of magazines on arts, fashion, interiors and design (publications that are hard to get hold of anywhere else), but then we moved to the books and spent a good hour making hard decisions on what to put back on the shelves. Came away with a big bag of books and magazines full of inspiration and a spring in our step. They sell on line too if you are looking for something specific, but I can’t emphasise enough that the experience of being in this shop and seeing these publications in person should not be missed. Staff are really helpful too by the way.

Fantastic store - a must visit for magazine lovers. I probably spent well over an hour there the last time I was in Bath, they have such an amazing selection.Given COVID I had some magazines I couldn't get in the US shipped to me and they arrive quickly and in perfect condition. Highly recommended!

Print is not dead .Amazing choice of independent magazines from art to food to gardens to music and style and more. Always an interesting mix , knowledgeable and helpful staff who can always point you to something down your street. Ideal place to source a gift too.

A must-see in Bath! we lived visiting this shop, it has every quality magazines you know and a bunch you’ve never heard of. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable, 100% recommend :)
