I was a resident here 1961 when it was a remand home. I can't say I enjoyed it. I was 16 years old at the time, a stupid teenager. who chose the wrong path in life. I escaped with another boy but was returned a few days later, then moved to a more secure Approved school. A path I regret to this day.

This place consists of two parts. In the Annex, people are kept alive. In the main home, they die quickly through neglect.
