Tee -Rex Soft Play

My son had a party here today and I was pretty disappointed. We were given poor service, the staff were unfriendly and the children did not receive enough food. Considering we paid quite a bit for the hire of the downstairs area it was quite a poor package. I will be booking with another soft play should I consider a party in the future.

Love this soft play! Been a few times now and every single time its been clean and very enjoyable. Lots of seating, good choice of food for both children and adults. What's not to love?

Parents take note, phone reception here is poor at best. That's all I have to say ..

This place is amazing for under 4's during the week/term time, due to the layout it's great to encourage independent play as you can see your child everywhere from the seating area.However, on weekends when there are parties on (sometimes up to two at a time) it is mental, overcrowded and can become too much for younger children.The baby bouncers are filthy, literally black with dirt which is a shame as everything else seems clean and well maintained.The staff are lovely, the food and drinks are good quality.The experience could really be improved if they implemented a booking system as they turn you away at the door if full so you've wasted a journey and have a disappointed child.

Lovely bright clean soft play. Only down side is 2 birthday parties were on when we went plus other walk ins like us as no need to book anymore and was rather quite busy. My normally confident 4.5 year old was hesitant going in to play with lots of children pushing around.

Came here 10am, got Turned away as it was full. I had looked online to book but it said no booking needed. If your that busy in summer holidays then there should be a booking system. Instead of people going all the way there and having upset children crying at the gates because they were so let down. Absolutely shocking system .

The website states ‘no need to book just come down’. We drove half an hour from Caerphilly to T-Rex only to be told they were full and we therefore couldn’t go in. Our 3 year old disabled son was very upset by this as It’s very difficult to explain this to him. So we drove home. All in all a 1 hour wasted trip. If we could have booked on the website we would have, there clearly is a need for a booking system if you’re turning people away.

A great place for 0-5 year olds, not too loud and rough like (Mambos or Jump) and you can pretty much keep a constant eye on the little one due to the boxy nature of the place as it's basically a hollow warehouse and parents get to play the game of count the helium balloons stuck up in the high ceiling, cafe and toilets are at the end and the soft play sections are at the other end with a dozen tables and chairs in the centre, food is simple like most of these places but nice enough, the artificial golf like green that lays the floor don't look to pretty and makes the place look a bit more grubby than it is.

Wish we could give this place zero stars! My wife called 1 hour beforehand to confirm we didn't need to book and this was confirmed by a member of staff. We travelled from Risca only to be told that they were now full! One upset child and 2 annoyed parents have now gone to book a space at Jump Llanisien. Avoid this place and avoid disappointment.
