Ian Brown Tyres

Booked a service today. Told to: - 'be there for 8am so I was first on the ramp' - which was good news with a busy day ahead. Phoned back at around half eleven and they had'nt even started after I'd had a huge rush to get there for 8am and after inconvenienced my working husband to collect me !! Had to cancel service which caused a 2nd trip for my husband to pick up car.Not impressed!! Will book elsewhere in the hope what I'm told will actually happen!!

Grateful for the puncture repair but a little more communication would have been appreciated

On holiday in Yorkshire and had a flat tyre, side wall split, unable to drive as repair kit was useless, both front tyres were low on tread so called Ian Browns and ordered two tyres to be fitted at our holiday cottage. Made the call at 1pm and by 3pm I’m back on the road, two tyres fitted and balanced on the the car in no time. Absolutely brilliant service, tyre fitter was very professional and friendly guy who knew his stuff. I can’t recommend this company enough. Excellent value, great service, what more can you ask for.Thank you.

Went in for a wheel alignment on the Tuesday and ordered 2 new tyres for the following Monday rang on Friday to confirm tyres were in yes I was told come first thing Monday travelling from whitby on the Monday was then told there not in stock and were not due anymore till January what an absolute joke of a customer service team they have here. Well Mr Brown in response to your reply mistakes can happen I agree but when I rang I was told the tyres were in fact in store waiting to be fitted for me Monday morning there were in fact other tyres available like you say which would of meant me waiting an additional 3 to 4 hours which unfortunately I actually have things to do today hence the early trip over from whitby ans strange you are now saying to use alternative brand tyres when you recommended replacing like for like tyres last week and when this issue of my wasted journey over to was raised a simple sorry was what was offered and no compensation was seeked or offered so please do not lie about this as to paint a false picture of myself which is totally beneath you improvement in you communications from your customer service staff will surely help your dealings with the general public and hopefully stop you resorting to making false claims about myself

It’s hard to know what to write as a complete numpty in the field of cars… but this is an immensely well-organised place, with not only competent staff but also those with first-class service at heart. Absolutely fantastic.
