West Kent Golf Club

Been having lessons with George Kelly, superb pro, very patient and has improved my golf significantly. Very short sharp lessons which provide enough but does not make things confusing. Would highly recommend.

Played here at a wedding last night. Lot of trophies and dark wood around. Our bassist forgot his bass but fortunately I had a friend who lived nearby and we borrowed his.

Today was the first time I had the pleasure of playing this course, it deserves more than 5 stars. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition, all staff were polite and helpful, greens staff have turned out an absolute gem of a course. Can't wait to play it again.

Nice course. Quite narrow and long with excellent pin positions and expertly designed with lots of tricky hazards. Deer running across course was fanatic.

You could be forgiven if you thought you had taken a wrong turn as you make your final approach the club, the almost one way lane winding its way to the club house finally unvails a suprising sneak peak at the course which sits very comfortably within a small valley.The topography of the course certainly adds to its entertainment and also its defence especially on some of the longer par 4s that in winter conditions felt out of reach even for bigger hitters. The greens were superb especially given that most have been frozen these past few weeks. The historical link with with the Airforce is still evident as the airfield adjoining the course provided a stream of small planes taking off and landing and I was reliably informed by Steve my playing partner and long term member of the club, that at certain times of the year you get displays from spitfires and hurricanes! The course has good practice facilities including a driving range and nets. This course is highly worth a trip, Kent is traditionally famed for its links courses but for an inland option I would highly recommend checking out West Kent.

Lovely course - one of the best locally - slightly hilly in parts - drained very quickly after morning heavy rain!

Great course. Friendly staff. Good food!

The course itself is in good condition although the greens were a bit slow and pumpy. Long course but wide open fairways. A couple of blind shots but on the whole hazards are easy to avoid. The club house and terrace are very pleasant and staff were very friendly and efficient.
