Hendy Vauxhall Salisbury

The worst service i have received at an authorized Toyota garage.Firstly my vehicle was in for a repair following a fuel leak breakdown. I had the vehicle dropped off at Hendy Salisbury on the 1st August. The work was carried out to repair the broken connector on a fuel pipe near a high pressure fuel pump at the top of the engine. I was told the vehicle was ready for collection on the 23rd August. Just over 3 weeks for a repair of this nature. While i can forgive a little time for this as a breakdown and it's uncertain the workshop would be able to assist strait away. i cannot forgive the complete lack of transparency and communication issues. i spent the three weeks calling Hendy Toyota for an update to be met with an answering machine. There were days where i'd call 5 times and no answer.I finally got a call to say the vehicle was fixed. However they would take it on an extensive drive to be sure it was running nicely. At which point i had informed the operator the vehicle had run out of MOT and my only option was to get them to expensively MOT the vehicle.When got another call following the MOT and drive check i was told the vehicle was ready. i made arrangements to collect on the 23rd August. I skipped my lunch to leave early to get to Hendy before closing time. Arriving at Hendy i was asked if someone had told me it was ready and had to wait in the seating area 30 minutes before i was spoken to with factual information regarding the repair of my vehicle. All of which was advised would be under warranty given i'd serviced the vehicle a few months prior to the breakdown. (Service stated Check pipes hoses and fittings" was ticked).Once the bill was finalized and i'd paid over and hour after arriving at Hendy Toyota. i was then ready to drive away.On receipt of the keys myself and the Hendy service desk worker had noticed a part had not be reassembled that had been removed by the AA. and further inspection i had noticed a nut missing on an assembly that looked to have been removed to access the area to be repaired.I handed the key back the the service operator and said i was not happy the job was completed. saying i'd be coming back tomorrow evening to re-collect. Lucy had stated the vehicle would be ready to collect tomorrow evening with a full tank of fuel for the inconvenience. Subsequently returning home without the vehicle. An 80 minute round trip to accomplish very little.fast forward the evening of the 24th. I arrive at Hendy Toyota in the evening after hours where Lucy had kept her word to be there for me to get the vehicle. Credit where it due she stayed after hours for me. However

I left my car withan issue , paid 1000 pounds and took my car with the same issue. I definitely do not recommend it.

We found the Hendy Toyota Salisbury, experience a joy. James who looked after us, made us feel very welcoming. I would definitely go back to buy another car from them.
