I feel incredibly lucky to have found Leigh! She was so much more than my bridal hair and make-up artist! Leigh is not only super talented at what she does, she is the most gorgeous person (inside and out) to have around.Leigh made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! She's amazing at being able to create the best version of yourself. I loved everything about my final bridal look, so much so that I kept my hairstyle in for the following day!Leigh and Becca were the perfect team and truly went above and beyond throughout the whole morning. To start with Leigh is a must have for your wedding day!I found Leigh on Instagram and immediately knew she was the hair and make up artist I wanted. As soon as Leigh opened her diary for 2023 I had my email ready to send. It was honestly the best decision. Leigh was amazing from start to finish. My trial was amazing and Leigh was so calm and friendly, she managed to capture my vision perfectly! As someone who doesnt wear a lot if make up it was important to still like me, which i did but Leigh had brought out all of my features perfectly. Leigh uses a shared Google drive to upload pictures to so she had an idea of the style I wanted before the trial.On the wedding day Leigh and Megan arrived and got set up straight away. They worked their magic on us all, my mam never wears make up or her hair up and she loved her final look. Leigh and Megan are both beautiful people inside and out, from Megan helping my 4 year old neice to complete her bunny teddy's make up, to Leigh helping me stay calm when the venue started asking a million questions and stepping in when she could it was overwhelming. They even helped to calm a family member down when it was overwhelming and helped to make sure my dress was on perfectly. I honestly can't thank you both enough for making us all feel beautiful. One of my bridesmaids slept in her hair and make up and it was still perfect the next day. Leigh I've never felt so beautiful in my life and would book you for anything I ever needed to. I cannot reccomend you enough.

Wow, what can I say to thank Leigh and Megan enough! I’d stumbled across Mubyleigh on instagram and from my initial enquiry, the service was amazing. From a simplicity perspective I wanted to book someone who could do both hair and makeup, and they certainly are amazing at both.My initial enquiry was full of lots of questions as I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup so was worried about not looking like myself, but Leigh provided all the answers I needed. The booking process was simple and following a flawless trial experience with Leigh I knew I was in safe hands. Before the wedding day, we also were sent a breakdown of the morning schedule when everyone would be having their hair and makeup done - this was really useful for us all to plan showers and breakfast around!On the wedding day, Leigh and Megan arrived early and set up before most of our party were even awake! They were highly professional and really set the tone for the morning, we had such a wonderful time with them and really felt like part of our bridal party - they knew just the right balance for getting us excited but keeping me calm too!When I was almost ready and Leigh was doing the final finishing touches for me, I caught sight of my reflection in a mirror in the corner of the room - that almost set me off crying! I couldn’t believe it was my reflection in the mirror. My bridesmaids, mum and auntie all looked beautiful and were so delighted, they absolutely loved the experience too.Throughout the wedding day and into the night, our hair & makeup definitely had the staying power! Booking Leigh was one of the best things I did for my wedding. She not only made me look and feel amazing on my wedding day, she was an absolute god-send in keeping me calm and relaxed all morning. She kept everything fun and relaxed and I'll be forever grateful. She was like the extra bridesmaid I didn't know I needed and honestly, much more helpful that some of my actual bridesmaids! I left looking for a hair/makeup artist very last minute and I’m so glad & very lucky to have found Leigh. After sending a quick message through hitched and our initial emails I knew straight away I’d found my makeup & hair stylist. The whole process has been absolutely seamless and it was like talking to a friend, I’m so incredibly lucky to have found Leigh and she & Megan made the wedding more so relaxed and fun.At my trial she created the most amazing hair and makeup from the inspo I showed her, I honestly felt like a princess and I was amazed with the end result and couldn’t wait to show my friends and family! In the build up to the wedding I couldn’t stop going back and looking at the pictures! Ruby, her dog is also the cutest little thing ☺️In the lead up to the wedding day I loved getting my schedule for the morning and my youngest bridesmaid & flowers girls mum loved this touch especially when my phone auto corrected one of the girls name! She has always said that was an a amazing touch to email her and correct it.Fast forward to the wedding day, Leigh & Megan were absolutely amazing, aside from everything being absolutely flawless with all of our hair & makeup, they made the morning so relaxing and fun, I can’t thank them enough. They also helped remove a huge spider and moved the furniture just to help us get the most amazing pictures! They also stayed around after doing all of our hair & makeup to do little touch ups if they were needed.Going the extra mile to help me into the car and make sure my makeup & hair were protected from the rain! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair & makeup.I honestly can’t thank them enough and I feel incredibly lucky to have found Leigh, it felt like I was with a friend and I really hope we stay in touch ☺️They are both incredible at what they do and I can’t recommend them enough.

Leigh and her team are absolutely wonderful. They really are so much more than a hair and makeup team, it’s like having additional bridesmaids. Leigh is so patient and has the natural ability to make you feel relaxed, as well as making you look amazing! My girls and I loved our hair and makeup, it looked as beautiful in person as it does in the photos. I honestly couldn’t recommend Leigh more.

Leigh and her assistant Megan were absolutely amazing on the day of my wedding, and even in the lead up to the wedding. The hair and makeup trial with Leigh was great, she made me feel so comfortable asking for what I wanted and delivered tenfold! On the actual day of the wedding Leigh and her assistant, Megan, showed up bright and early with a positive attitude ready to do hair and makeup for me (the bride), the mother of the groom and the mother of the bride, and four bridesmaids!Despite the early wakeup time and the amount of people needing services, Leigh and Megan had such a fun attitude and the hair and makeup services were impeccable. Everyone looked so beautiful on the day. I really felt like a princess, but still very much like myself, Leigh's talent is just incredible. I also have to commend her ability to adapt to different skin tones and age groups, as everyone looked amazing and we were a diverse group! If you are in the northeast of England and are not sure you can find someone to do more natural but still glam bridal makeup that fits a variety of skin tones, I absolutely must recommend Leigh and her team!The photos attached in my gown were taken on a phone camera with natural lighting and no editing and the makeup still looks flawless! The photo with the green dress was at the end of the night and the makeup is still going strong!

I wanted to book Leigh for ages and had an alert on for when her diary would open. I had struggled to find someone else in the area who offered both hair and make up and a modern, fresh style at a good price point. When I went for my trial, I was so pleased with my decision. Not only did Leigh totally deliver (my mother-in-law came with me and watching Leigh work described her as an ‘artist’), but she was so easy to chat to. Its really important you have people you like and can relax around on your wedding day, and Leigh is 100% your friend in the room. I felt like Leigh listened to what I wanted and made good suggestions using her expertise. I wasn’t sure what lipstick shade I wanted and tried to describe it. I eventually bought the perfect one from Mac. On the day, Leigh turned up with the same one, which shows how thoughtful she is - but also that she knows what she’s doing.My hair and make up on the day, and that of my bridesmaids, was perfect. My other girl friends said after that we all looked like ourselves, but the best version. It was really important to me (as someone who doesn’t wear much make up day to day) that we didn’t suddenly look like different people and Leigh really understood that, as did her colleague Megan who was supporting her on day and was also fab.As well as doing hair and make up, Leigh was so knowledgeable about weddings in general (when to take the bouquets out of water, what the registrar will ask) and this really helped keep me calm on the day. She’s also not shy to tell your bridesmaids to get a move on if they are faffing - she makes sure its all about you!I keep trying to think up an excuse to get my hair and make up done again so I can book Leigh.Run, don’t walk, to book!
