Orchard Surgery

One of two sister surgeries and the one that seems to offer the most appointments.However, it is also the one that has had the least money spent on upkeep!!The car park is an absolute nightmare, with no markings down to distinguish individual spaces and no disabled parking spaces!None of the doors have automatic opening so just getting inside in my wheelchair is a complete nightmare!! None of the building is laid out very well at all for wheelchair users, which is somewhat ironic, given its use.The other surgery in Endon has been renovated and extended, with automatic opening doors, a large accessible toilet and treatment rooms but it seems to be largely unused in favour of the Norton Surgery which just seems such a shame!!!Norton does seem to have an overall friendlier welcome and reception staff than Endon and when calling, to make an appointment or ask a question, for example, I always dial Norton's number over Endon!!!

Excellent care from the nurse Carol Picken ANP. My husband has been seen by her twice recently, both times with excellent results. She actually listens to the problem, sorts treatment and follows up referrals. Thank you

Absolutely awful surgery. I cannot describe how bad I feel about them. 10 -15 minute wait for anyone to pick up and when you finally get an answer receptionist / pitbull has the amazing ability to sound bored, arrogant and completely uncaring all at the same time! Makes you feel like you’re bothering her only to be told that you’ll get a call tomorrow from a nurse for a telephone diagnosis or go to the local chemist or the Haywood walk in.I have to ask the question, if you don’t want to deal with sick people, why go into the field?I’m changing doctors!!

Was treated for an infection, the medication worked for 3 days then stopped working and was even in more pain at the end, so I rang up to explain and told them I'm in alot of pain with the infection and I'm obviously pregnant and got told ohh there's nothing wrong with you, when the week before It came back up I had infection and was clearly treated for it. If this was the case then basically I was given treatment for nothing so they did job wrong. Anyway after I was told there's nothing wrong with me I clearly told the guy on the phone who clearly sounded so childish and he clearly didnt know what he waa talking about, I told him I was in alot of pain with the infection and pregnant which isn't safe leaving an infection untreated. Pregnant or not it's so wrong... oh and because I told him he was dumb which he sure was, he said he was going to end the call if I carried on like how childosh can you get, deffo not the right attitude for the job you have. Just goes to show they dont care about patients only their pay... It's life. Stay strong people

Always helpful, or as good as they can be taking the current situation into account. Receptionist always pleasant and well mannered.Only thing that I think is that sometimes changes to diabetic clinics etc could be communicated but I understand how busy they are.

Orchard Surgery- Best Doctor's surgery my children have been registered with.Brilliant with children, never had a problem getting a appointment even on short notice with either a nurse or a Doctor.Personally not experienced long waiting times when ringing for appointments, visiting Surgery, or if waiting for a call back, never experienced a overly long wait.

I was with this doctors for around 7/8 months and all I kept getting from them was we will send you for blood tests too see what us wrong rather than then actually listening too me, I have now moved to a different GP surgery and they have looked at my blood tests from 3 months ago and have told me I had high infection markers then, I was made aware of this by this GP however at the time they never acted on this. They do not listen too you when you are trying too tell them your problems and they just send you away for blood tests each time and don't investigate things when things don't come back normal. They couldn't give a single care about patients well been 9 out of 10 times your appointment is late.

Terrible. I've not long come out of Hospital after having had a liver transplant and this practice is refusing me urgent medication. I can't get to see my Doctor as she not taking bookings, unable to see any Doctor as there are no available appointments.

I put my 11 week old son prescription in last Monday and still to be told that it’s not been done, Friday came and she said it’s in basket for them! Week later apparently his fell out the basket Friday night! And been today Wednesday to be told still not be signed by doctor and there nothing can do and can’t get a an appointment with the doctor!!

never get an appointment! every time am told to go the pharmacy to waste over 1hour for both me and them, for them to say you need to ring back the doctors i cant do anything!explain this well i can get you in but it going be a weeks time im ill now not in a week !whats the point in been registered with a doctors
