The Castle at Edgehill
Exceptional. This is what a 5/5 food experience feels like. Beautiful view. The combination of starters, the Sunday roast, the desserts and even the coffee after; it all was just exceptional. Combination of flavours, the quality of the materials, the cosy environment, the views, the friendly service, the value for money. Loved it!

Stopped by whilst out on a walk today. Only intended to stop for a quick cold drink but was tempted by a sandwich and I'm glad I was. Have eaten here before for an evening meal which I have enjoyed but was really pleased with the lunch menu. The sandwich was delicious, service very friendly and helpful and the view from the garden spectacular.I'd heartily recommend to anyone coming through the area.The sandwich I packed for my walk is now in the fridge at home and will be lunch for work tomorrow!

We recently stayed at the charming Castle at Edgehill, a boutique hotel/pub/restaurant situated in a small, renovated castle near the countryside. We booked the two-room suite and it felt like we were transported into a fairytale fantasy world!The suite is incredibly spacious, with high ceilings and large windows that let in abundant natural light. The decor is contemporary with a twist - think sleek lines blended with lush drapes and pops of colour for a modern yet storybook vibe. My 4-year-old daughter was over the moon, prancing around the rooms pretending she was a princess.The attached garden has to be one of the highlights of our stay. With panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, it's an idyllic spot to sit with a cold pint or glass of wine in the evening. We also had the pleasure of having a coffee in the restaurant which has the same views.The service from the staff also enhanced our experience. They were gracious, prompt and attended to our needs readily. The only critique I have is that the cleaning could have been more thorough in the nooks and crannies of our suite. However, when I provided this feedback to the management, they were very apologetic and assured me they would pay more attention to detail.Overall, we had an absolutely magical stay. It's a place where fantasy meets reality, and the perfect escape for families or couples looking for a storybook experience. We're already planning our next visit to this charming boutique castle hotel.

We just popped in to admire the view and have a drink at the bar, as they were still taking sunday lunch orders we waited a bit to order our drinks.We sat in luxurious leather Chesterfield sofas. The view outside was amazing. The place is bursting with quirky character..

Jas and I visited this gem of a venue over Xmas 2022 and decided immediately that we would love to get married there and we booked it right away. We had Sue as our wedding event planner and she was amazing from start to finish, her wealth of knowledge and experience helped massively to bring our plans and vision together. On the day, every aspect just went seamlessly..... We enjoyed the ceremony in the lower garden at this historical venue with spectacular views as far as the eye could see on a beautiful warm sunny day. The staff were incredibly professional and on it, everything just happened without a single hitch or glitch. There is only one worthy word to describe the food and that is exceptional" with one of our guests also commenting "it is without a doubt the nicest wedding she has been to”."

Superb Sunday dinner - wonderful flavours and definitely a cut above the norm. Staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful - so clearly well-managed.Great walks straight from the door.If you're lucky, you'll get a seat in their 'conservatory', with fabulous views.

We had our work Christmas meal here and had a lovely room to ourselves at the back, looking out onto the lights stretching into the distance (I imagine the view in the day time would be spectacular) The food was beautifully presented and delicious and the staff were super-attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and with very little notice turned an ordinary dessert into a birthday one! Would definitely recommend. Not cheap but good quality and worth the money.

I am so impressed! This is the best meal out I've had in years. I adore food but have several allergies and it is SO rare that I get to eat well, if at all when I leave the house and I hardly ever feel safe or welcome even if I can. The staff were so helpful, accomodating, friendly and assertive. I had so many options to choose from and the chefs were happy to switch things out. The food was so beautifully cooked that my highly active brain actually paused in a moment of pure joy. As if the food wasn't enough of a highlight, we arrived early enough to enjoy golden hour and the stunning views over the Cotswolds. That was special and I will absolutely be back in the future. Highly recommend if you're looking for an allergen friendly restaurant. Thanks so much x
