I have a bearded collie, a long haired dog. I've been using laPooch for around 3-4 years every single time with theinstructions to keep my dog long haired and just to have a tidyup. never had an issue. Admittedly beardies are the type to getmatted easily, however I do keep on top of this weekly.Especially just before he goes to get groomed just incase (likehas happened in this instance) the groomer is too lazy to cutand brush the mats out and shaves them completely. Toconfirm this, in the last week my dog has been aroundsomeone who used to be a professional groomer and see'sthere is no reason for her to have shaved him down to 1 inchlong fur like has happened. My dog looks a mess now, nothingthat compares to the bearded collie look he once had. Do notuse this groomer unless you want your dog to look northinglike it's former self

Took our cockapoo for his first groom today with La Pooch and after almost a year trying different groomers and being disappointed every time we gave now found the best, he looks amazing and smells wonderful. Thank you
