Excellent service from optician and colleagues working on the main optician area. Very helpful and understanding especially in the current Covid 19 climate. Highly recommended, I won't go anywhere else. Thank you.

No problems with getting my eyes tested and picking the frames. Was told it will be two to three weeks and that I will get a call. Nearly five weeks later get a phone call to say glasses is ready, but has to make an appointment to pick them up preferably on Saturday or Sunday? Trying to make an appointment but no answer. Will leave a voicemail to see if they will get back to me.

Very slow service the new website does not work to track or see progress of orders been waiting 6 weeks for lenses

After waiting an hour in a qué for the check out my ice cream hade melted I asked a member of your staff if she could please change them. She said there where no more of the diabetes ice-cream and I was to have the two melted ones I hade qued with I said I can go get them as I'm sure there is more on the shelf while you authorize my alcohol. When I then came back with two frozen ones that were on the shelf your card machine then told me my bank card was declined three times dispite there being sufficient funds. I then left the shopping and the store in absolute disgust

Never buy glasses from Asda opticians. I bought two pairs of varifocals nearly a year ago and they've been nothing but trouble. The screws holding the arms are constantly coming loose. As a consequence one if the arms fractured at the hinge, so I took them back. They told me it might not be a warranty repair because of the fracture but sent them off.Today I get a call to say they're ready. I collect them and as the technician is adjusting them the hinge breaks. They hadn't repaired them nor had they told her they weren't repaired. I could have soldered them but not now.

Terrible and unpleasant manager who needs a few lessons in customer service. AvoidExplanation: I needed a spare pair of glasses as mine were already falling apart (bought from Asda). My glasses are important in my line of work and were causing massive issues with them falling off. I was told my prescription was out of date by a week and they could not supply me with glasses. The manager had no sympathy for my situation and from the off he very clearly showed he had no interest in helping me. I couldn’t get an appointment until end of March. Because of this I asked for a copy of my prescription and they told me I would be committing fraud and refused to give it to me! I left feeling so upset and defeated. No ounce of sympathy from the team and I will certainly not be going bad. Sort it out.

Friendly team at Asda Opticians Gloucester, took time and had loads of patience with me. Very helpful with helping me choose the correct frame suitable to my prescription.Staff were able to answer any questions I had, and talked me through all options.Testing was great too, attention to every detail faultless, I've been to many different Opticians over the years and Asda are by far the best.

Excellent service, pleasant and helpful staff.Good eye test, if not quite as in depth as a high street optician, but this was probably due to lockdown restrictions.Wide selection of frames and choices of lenses. Very competitive prices, I saved over £200 for a pair of Varifocals. Amazingly, price was £80 for 2 pairs!! This would normally cost me £500Will definitely use Asda Opticians again. No contest.

I used Asda Gloucester Opticians for the first time a couple of years ago and recommended them to numerous people since. This year, I've had appointments cancelled, which is frustrating because it takes ages to arrange as you always get the answer machine, and no one returns your calls. My rearraged appointment went well and the girl carrying out the test etc was brilliant. New glasses selected, paid, ready in about 10 days ". 14 days later I rang 6 times
