TOTAL RIP OFF!!!Used one small and one medium size washer machine, each took 20 mins (was happy about that) we used our own soap and stayed just outside to watch our laundry. We were going to drop off but couldn’t pick up until later in the day. We needed our laundry earlier. Used 2 dryers, each 15 mins. Cost 33£!!! :(

Just picked up the laundry I dropped off at 10:30 a.m. (picked it up at 12:15 as promised). Cleaned and folded. Lady at the counter was very pleasant. Cost was £23 for a large load. Leaving the laundry let me see the town which is better than sitting there. Bring change if you’re doing the laundry yourself. Oh and there was change in my pant’s pocket which were cleaned which I didn’t realize. The lady had it taped to the package the clean clothes were in.

Charged me £5 for a small load of drying for 15 minutes. When I handed over the £5, I was given a £1 coin in exchange and told to put it in the machine! Incredibly over priced and run down facilities.

The Art Launderette is great for people who travel a lot like myself. With its close proximity to local hotels, this self service laundry place is a great option for your money. Art Launderette offers small, Medium, and Large options to fulfill your wash load needs. Upon arrival, you may notice a sign stating if you don’t it see anyone there, simply walk to the news stand next door for assistance. The young lady who helped me was more than friendly. One slightly annoying thing about this place is that you need to exchange your British Pounds (no credit accepted) for tokens to operate these machines. So if you are like me and already exchanged your home country currency for Pounds, and then scrambled to find coins to operate the machines, only to find out they were operated by tokens, it can be a little irritating. To make up for it, they have free WiFi! As far as pricing goes, it is £10 for a large wash, £8 for a medium wash, and £6 for a small wash. To dry, it is an additional £2 for 30 minutes. If you forgot your detergent, or you do not travel with any, it will cost you £1. A full service option is available as well. Overall I highly recommend this place for your laundry needs!

In the middle of a two-week vacation in Scotland, we had some laundry to do. Staying at Doubletree Glasgow Central, there was supposed to be laundry service; however, they did not note that there was no service on Sunday! This laundry is only a few minutes’ walk away, open seven days/week, and for £24 (cash-only), she washed, dried, folded, AND delivered our laundry to the hotel (sealed in plastic)! It was a terrific time-saver to be able to leave the laundry and spend our final day in Glasgow doing fun stuff rather than sit and wait for a wash and dry. We had one load of laundry, all washed (our choice, cold water) and dried together (10 pairs of socks, ten underwear, six t-shirts, one cotton dress).

I tried to come here to do a bit of washing, didn’t realize they only take cash/coins. I had £5 so I figured I could do a wash and then hang dry my stuff… it was £22 for a large load to wash and dry myself! Didn’t seem like they give option to only wash. So I got out of there and went to the petrol station washing machines instead. That’s just too expensive!

Not manned--so if you are calling you won't get through. You have to call and speak to the gentleman running the newsstand. It is self-serve and will cost you £10 to do about 10kg of laundry (about 5 days' clothing) between the washing and drying. Go to the newsstand to get the tokens for the washers. Comfortable place to sit and read while waiting.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Asked how much a small load was to wash and dry and was told to load up the machine first and then they’ll tell me the price. I proceeded to do so and then i was quoted TWENTY THREE POUNDS! The loading up of the machine before telling you the price is clearly some sort of hostage tactic. I reluctantly paid up as i needed the washing done asap, handed £30 over and was rudely asked “don’t you have change?” No, i didn’t and the owner had change anyway so i had no idea why she asked and in such a rude manner even though i’ve forked out an arm and a leg for a simple wash and dry.Zero customer service for an extortionately high price. Wouldn’t recommend that my worst enemy wash their clothes here.

I used their service while visiting Glasgow on a holiday for a week. I had some clothes that needed a wash & ironing, and this was the closest place to where I stayed. Overall experience was very good. It costed me £23 which I thought was a little bit expensive to be honest.
