The Oddfellows Arms Caldbeck
My wife and I visit the Oddfellows Arms for infrequent lunches. We might visit 2 or 3 times a year as a special treat. We have always enjoyed the food and ambience. The menu always has something a little out of the ordinary from standard pub food.

Great pub.The staff were really hard working, on top of their game, and super attentive without being overbearing. The food we had was great. We came here last year too around the same time, and the standard was really high then too - so it's consistent. Hats off to the management for the friendly atmosphere and customer satisfaction.The staff comprehensively knew the menu - and everyone seemed to care about their customers and their work. There's really nothing to say but positives .

Dropped in for post walk drinks. Excellent pint. Didn't have food but what I saw being served looked fab. Staff were lovely too, really pleasant.

The Oddfellows Arms Caldbeck
This is a review of the pub restaurant, not the hotel.The menu is a little confused. There are Japanese dishes that don't seem to fit in with the rest of the menu and some odd items.That said, we had the pan-fried chicken and the steak pie, both served with vegetables. The portion sizes are perfect, and the food is very well prepared. The steak pie just melts in your mouth, and the vegetables were nicely done.Service is good, not fast, but not slow.It is a nice enough pub with friendly staff and woth a visit. Also, dog friendly.

The Oddfellows Arms Caldbeck
Fantastic pub and very friendly. Food is absolutely delicious, freshly made and generous portions. Lots of great gluten free and dairy free or vegan options which is so hard to find in pubs. Also dog friendly and in a lovely little village. Definitely recommend visiting and we will be returning if we are in the area again!

Really nice, spacious, family friendly pub. Huge menu! Lots of veggie, vegan and GF options. Although the food was was a bit pricey (£15 ish per main course) it was delicious ! Great kids menu too, with massive portions, slush machine for the kids, lots of happy kids! Dog friendly! And really appreciated the last minute table for 8 request! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Would highly recommend!

Lovely little traditional pub with welcoming staff, good choice of food, roaring fires and not overly busy. Nice to see fussy eaters are catered for with plain burgers and the selection of board games seemed to have all their pieces intact.
