We have eaten there 3 times now and on every occasion the food was excellent. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner. This is a great addition to restaurants at Silverburn and well worth a visit

Mixed bag on our first visit.Salmon main was really good, although it had obviously been ready well before our other food so sat under a heat lamp for a while making the mash go hard at the top and creating a layer of skin on the sauce. Highlander fries nice as well.To the more negative part, my partner got eggs benedict with tattie scone and chilli avocado, unfortunately the eggs were really underdone, still clear egg white pouring out the egg, however the other parts of the dish were tasty she said.Brings me onto the service, was totally fine until we told the girl about the eggs. She told us she would tell them, she never mentioned it again afterwards. I was always going to pay for it but not even a sorry, was like she just hoped we wouldn't cause a fuss. Which we never.Overall very dissapointing, would probably try again as there were a few other things on the menu that looked good. Very pricy for what it is, but portion size good.

Absolutely outstanding. The food is exceptional, all colleagues that work here are lovely, efficient and attentive. I am coeliac and require gluten free, the options for GF are probably the best of all the restraunts we visit. Breakfast is one of my particular favourites, with all items normally challenging (tattie scones etc) being offered in GF. Every dish i have ever had here has been amazing. I cannot praise this place enough, and take my hat off to the colleagues that work here. Favourite place for breakfast lunch or dinner!

Just went for breakfast with my wife and the food was amazing. One of the best I've had, the quality of ingredients elevated from just a nice breakfast to something a bit special. Will definitely be back to try the lunch menu. Service was excellent as well, the waitress kept an eye on us without being over too much.

Visited for the first time in between lunch and dinner rush. The entrance is outside Silverburn and there're a lot of stairs to navigate once you're in but also a lift if needed. Wasn't a fan of the layout and we ended up in a rather enclosed booth that was supposed to seat 4 but if so, it would have been very cosy! I think it's just your luck where you end up seated but I personally am nosey and like to people watch which was a definite no from our seats and really affected the atmosphere in all honesty.The menu is great. Good selection but as we're from Ayrshire, we're very familiar with the variety of sister restaurants (which we love by the way) and my first impression was - this is expensive in comparison to their other ventures. HOWEVER, just look at the pictures...the portions are huge and effort is definitely put into making the food more presentable etc than if I'd gone to the likes of the Hollybush and ordered steak pie. The food was really lovely and worth the money. Service was quick i but the restaurant was anything but busy because of the time we dined at but it was friendly.My only gripe, and just to be nitpicky, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, but the server came to clear my partner's plate away before I had finished (and it was obvious) but no big deal as I literally took my last mouthful when she was at the table so she then took my plate away also. But then we were never asked if we wanted anything else, no look at the dessert menu, no more drinks etc. We were left sitting feeling quite awkward until we were asked if we were okay"

Was eager to try this place since it’s opened and was not disappointed nice chilled atmosphere Friendly attentive staff I ordered French trimmed Ayrshire tomahawk pork was cooked,brilliantly and all the other elements on the dish made the dish even better my friend got the chicken haggis and bacon burger with peppercorn Sauce which they loved. Can’t wait to go back !

I was looking for somewhere to eat in silverburn came across this. Really really delighted, food amazing . Best place eaten in a long time . Staff lovely couldn't be more helpful. Had a disabled lift .

Good Service, Great Menu to choose from, presentation on point and such good value for money!I had the chicken, haggis and bacon peppercorn burger, Which was amazing. I would love to try the chicken breast with butter mash next time!Mocktails also very tasty!Will need to try breakfast options. Definitely recommend a visit!

Met for dinner with friends for a good catch up, Was seated at a booth as the restaurant was empty they could have asked us where we wanted to sit but no they crammed 4 people into the booth.The server was really nice but unfortunately got our order wrong, when we pointed it out they just took the meal away and dumped what we didn’t ask for off the plate and brought it straight back. We were told that there was a extra charge as we wanted to change our fries and when they came they were also wrong, I just started to eat them as I didn’t want to send it back as I had seen what had happened to my friends plate. When asked was everything ok we told her about the wrong fries she asked do you want me to change them I said no it’s ok and just took what a didn’t want off the fries. Burger was poor, chips were very hard. When the bill came we questioned the £6 extra charge for “upgrading” the fries when they had come as a wrong order the girl said she would get the manager an other person came over and said well sorry but I did ask you did you want to change them and I replied no because I was nearly half way through to her rude reply well you were hardly half way through! Poor attitude and the food was no better!
