They close doors on one side after a certain time. cigarette counter closes early on their whim even though many staff could operate it (meant to be 9 but has closed at 8 many times), baskets may or may not be there when you walk in, staff are friendly in the store, especially alcohol and will go out of their way to the store back to get what youd like. At the tills it's another matter, many stood talking and seem bothered you need them to press buttons on the self service tills. They've never been ok in the last few years and it's only got worse to help customers. Try and avoid Asda Portrack as it just enrages me they have the staff there to do things but they don't. Doesn't surprise me as the company doesn't pay them enough to care so I'd probably be the same.

Always been a great place to shop . BUT don't think the staff are very helpful. Got asked to use the lift as the escalator woz out of use I asked how far away are there as I'm not very good on my pins . She looked at me and with her head says over there . Not down to the other end of the building. And the girls on the self help tills were not helpful at all . Next time I'll go to Tesco .. they know how to look after the customer.

Absolutely shocking customer service by the colleague who was working on self check out tills at 06/09/23 at 10:25pm. Totally understand if she was by herself but manners do not cost anything.

Of all the Asda branches locally, this is my favourite for visiting. Firstly, it's two floors with a trolley-friendly escalator, the shelves are usually well-supplied [notwithstanding depot shortages], and staff attitude, friendliness and approachability seem to be so much better than found in plenty of other grocers. If you're a Blue Badge holder try and get there early before the self-entitled & unqualified yahoos steal all the spaces, despite the perfectly large enough carpark (same everywhere!), and watch your backs with all the pickers flying around for those who can't be bothered to go in for themselves, and by doing so are hastening the day when walk-in shops will start to become extinct! Just like Check-out operators are already doing.

The Cafe is an absolute joke, we visited today at 15.40 the worst customer service ever, the staff have no training very rude, speak to customers like garbage we were greeted with what do you want " the pizza is cold horrible and when we asked about why she has given us 5 chips she said she couldn't be bothered to put more chips in ."

New update; From 2 stars to now 1, thanks to over pricing and NOW SHRINKING ITEMS. Asdos is a complete rip off, 4 pack of bier deluxes which were 500ML now shrunk to 440ML with 1.8 units instead of 2 units, with it being 4% why shrink the cans down and keep the price up? Complete joke and rip off type of Hypermarket".Do not be fooled into these scams that Asdo does

Ordered through just eat from the cafe and the food and experience was very poor.Food was cold when it arrived. My panini wasn't toasted. The breakfast was served and crammed into a cardboard box which didn't look / taste appealing at all.Delivery was extremely slow too.I also felt like it was over priced. Definitely not value for money and disappointing. Wouldn't order from just eat from asda cafe again.

I came to Asda as it is a 24 hour one and after i had done my shopping there was no one on the tills. It was disgraceful. I had two full trollies and had to self scan. My elderly mum was forced into doing the other trolly with no assistance from plenty of that staff that were just watching. Also people were being weird in Asda, not staff just general public. Wouldn’t recommend.

I enjoy shopping in this store. Good range of goods to chose from. The produce section is well stocked. There is some good offers on a lot of items. The checkout is quick and friendly. Overall, it's fairly cheaper than most retailers.
