Just picked up our baby girl Skye from having her first groom at valley groomers, and I couldn’t fault them at all! Welcoming, warm service and I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I've been coming here for years but the last few times they have groomed my cats very badly. The previous time they shaved off their whiskers. This time they left fur on the stomachs, legs and back of my cats. The areas which had been shaved were incredibly uneven and they didn't have a bath as fur dust was rolling off of them. Their excuse was that my cats weren't happy but they've been going there for years now so their excuse isn't valid. To top it all off they charged me full price for a half job. Absolutely disgusting service, don't go here.

Valley groomers are absolutely fantastic. My 2 dogs love going there. Staff are amazing, kind and considerate and you can see how much they love the animals they care for. Highly recommend valley groomers wouldnt go anywhere else.

Fantastic service at an unbelievable price. Professional, knowledgeable and extremely kind to my matted Persian baby. She was was bathed, matts shaved off and coat trimmed all over. She looked and smelled wonderful, and most importantly was happy and comfortable. I will be using Valley groomers on a monthly basis.

Only good things to say about valley groomers!! Valley groomers is excellent, always experience high customer service! I take my chow here all the time!! Literally one of the few places that will groom chow chows and they are amazing every-time! They are very patient with him! He always come out looking like a handsome boy! They are so dedicated and clearly a very animal loving company! They have helped me many times with very last minutes appointment due to Simba wanting to roll around in sewage water! The prices are great and he always comes out looking and smelling lovely!! The first time Simba visited when we first got him as a puppy he had a lot of matts and they managed to get them all out and made him look so good! Ive trusted them since day 1 with my little boy and I will continue to use them throughout! No one id trust more! The staff are so lovely and always make your pooch feel special! Simba is a very nervous dog too but they always put him at ease❤️xI could go on but its just better to try it out and experience it for yourself! Honestly couldn’t recommend enough!!

Excellent service! I was recommended Valley Groomers in a UK poodle facebook group. We have a 4 month old Toy Poodle puppy Nippy who was due to have his first groom. I wanted him to get used to grooming as I know a poodle coat needs lots of love and attention to stay nice.When I called Valley Groomers I was told that it would be best to bring Nippy in around 9am when it is quiet so that they could take their time with him with loads of cuddles and get him used to the experience without too many other dogs around and make him think that going to the groomers is a fun thing! -- It was clear from the beginning that the way they operate is not to just take the dog quickly in and take the money but to make it a nice experience. On top of this the puppy service they have was only £25!The employees and owner are very friendly and it is clear that they are experiences and professional and very good at what they do. You can see the space from the till and every dog in there seemed very happy.When we took Nippy in we were told about different styles a poodles fur could be done. (For now we just decided to have him 'tidied up' a bit). Nippy was happy to be left at the groomers and was calm and happy when we went to get him an hour later. And we were super happy with how he looks ! -- By the way, IKEA is just 8 minutes away by car, perfect breakfast / lunch while waiting!Definitely would recommend to other people and already booked an appointment for next time!ps. as a side note, I think the only low reviews Valley Groomers has got is due to owners not understanding how to care for a poodle / poodle mix coat. (When it mats it has to be shaved, when a matted coat is shaved, it will reveal infections etc. caused by the matting)
