Brownsea Island Outdoor Activity Centre & Campsite

Location of the first scout camp. On the south West of the island, large area for camping for scouts groups from all over the world. The Island is idyllic and well cared for.There are some activities in area next to camping facilities (for scouts camping). Site also has the location and memory plaque for the first campers. Visitors from all over the world stay and represented by patrol signs left pointing home.Island had nature reserve, guided walks, church and castle (private).Well worth a visit, or stay if you're a scout!

We were 15 people in a group so enjoyed in our own group.
