fantastic dentists all the team are lovely. I was nervous to have tooth extraction, after initial injection was calmed down, had everything re explained including aftercare.

I just went to this dental practice for a filling and I cannot describe how unprofessional the service I received was. I explained that I was nervous of injections and the dentist did/said nothing to reassure me, only telling me that I could have it without the injection and face the pain instead if I liked! He then put the injection in so quickly that it was absolute agony. I lay there sobbing for 5 minutes while he waited for my mouth to go numb and he and the nurse said nothing. It was both upsetting and bizarre. Go here if you have nerves of steel but find somewhere else if you want any level of patient care.

They can't be given anything less than 5*They treat you with respect and kindness. I am also very keen that my little girl isn't scared of the dentist as I was when I was little. I am confident that if we are able to stay with this practise then she will be very happy to keep going. Smiles all around.

Staff are friendly and helpful.Follow up care and dental advice is always explained fully by our dentist.Highly recommend the dental practice

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. There are no situations in which huffing at customers is professional or acceptable behaviour by a customer facing receptionist. ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ADVISED YOU THAT THEY HAVE BRAIN DAMAGE.My last straw with this surgery came when a receptionist that was trying to help, failed to realise that my protestations and questions were because I didn't I didn't feel that what she was offering was help to me. I couldn't understand how I could receive one service from a receptionist one day, and different the next. So instead of thinking she continued to try to force her own agenda, her own type of what she thought was 'help' rather than indicating in the slightest that she understood my position. I gave up at the lack of said 'help' and went to leave. And that would have been it had she not huffed at me as I left. She obviously disapproved of my following response to swear at her lack of respect, professionalism or understanding, she showed that she felt that disabled people with brain damage are capable of acting exactly like those with brains that work.She then proceeded to fail to understand that I wasn't leaving because I wanted an apology, that I thought it would be useful for the future if she understood why I was upset, but she didn't want to listen, instead she wanted to defend her unacceptable behaviour.I still doubt she understands. I got the feeling that she thought I was trying to pick on her. I get the feeling that by tonight she will have made herself the protagonist of a situation that was NEVER ABOUT HER.Had she actually stopped and thought... wait... this woman with BRAIN DAMAGE doesn't understand the help I'm trying to give, had she stopped and thought... wait..... this 'help' is obviously not helping, had she stopped to think... wait... is there another option. Then it may have been a different situation.

Very disappointing. Called to re-register my mother as a private patient from NHS but was told immediately that no appointments were available for at least three weeks. When I questioned about going private, tone changed. Website hours are incorrect and generally, reception not helpful. Find somewhere else to go

I was taken care of amazingly when I had tooth pain. Emily was brilliant and accommodated to my needs diligently and gave me the best advice and guidance. Khalida was the dentist that worked on my teeth and made me feel so at ease and comfortable during procedure. I would only request to return to Khalida now with the support of Emily and the dental care team. Thank you so much to the team there. If I could give six stars I would!

Took my 2 year old there , the doctor was really good with him but made me feel awful . I have explained that my son hates brushing his teeth and he even makes himself sick when brushing teeth - I expected to get some tips for the dentist , but no !! I was given the worlds worst evil look and I was told that no matter what I should do it , and the dentist wants to see him back in a month and me do a better job as regardless of him being sick or not I should just pin him down and do it !!! I left with tears in my eyes . I have never see such a horrible look . MySons teeth aren't bad at all he doesn't need fillings or further assistance he has lovely diet nothing to worry about he just doesn't like brushing his teeth as im sure many other children are the same .

Mermaid dental surgery is absolutely marvellous! As a very nervous patient, Dr. Peter Landboe-Christensen has given me the confidence i need to visit the dentist! I cannot rate him and his staff highly enough.

I have been with them for years but since they went private they have no time for NHS patients. I had to wait three weeks an emergency appointment for a broken tooth. They refered to to another clinic to have it out and 'lost' my referal 3 times. When i finally went through they had sent one from three years ago and when i arrived at the clinic they were set to take out my wisdom teeth ive already had out!! When i asked them about this they were very rude. I have changed dentists and do not recommend them for NHS patients.
