I was expecting much more considering, I paid over £100 for the room for a night. (it was a Saturday night)I appreciate that it's an old building so possibly not able to have air conditioning installed but at the very least they could provide fans in the room during a heatwave. The mugs in my room were dirty, the shower was noisy and either ice cold or scolding hot, the body wash bottle was empty, the towels were as dry as a brick. The curtains were falling off the curtain track and covered in dust, they even had moth balls on themOhh and I was kept awake by something biting my legs all night.Suffice to say I will not be back!!!!

The hotel was very clean and the receptionist friendly. There’s no lift to the 1st floor.A few more car parking spaces are required otherwise you’ll get idiots in a Merc blocking you in. Thanks for that. Not the hotels fault but other people had parked in the HGV bit, why not you?Whilst the hotel is part of the services it was very quiet. When driving in you need to stay right and follow signs for Ramada and drive thru. It’s difficult when cars are right behind you to see the sign.

This isn't somewhere I would stay if I was sticking around for a long time, but if you are looking to break up a long journey then this in a great location, just off the motorway, and the room is OK for price. Plenty plugs, USB port, a TV and tea making facilities. We all had a good night sleep and filled up at breakfast, which again was OK, and there was plenty of choice.

Decent enough for the price paid (£66)Sadly the room wasn't great by way of -There was no shampoo or soap in the dispensers (found this out only after getting in the shower)The extractor in the room did not workAnd the windows didn't open..So after the two of us showered the room was sweltering and steamy! The staff on reception were brilliant thou and sorted us out with shampoo and extra teabags and milk for the room. For a quick unplanned stop over for work, it was decent enough.

Hotel is looking dated and could do with a refit. In the recent hot spell the lack of air conditioning meant sleeping was a very uncomfortable experience. Not good for a hotel charging as much as they do.The breakfasts were poor so we didn't even attempt an evening meal. That being said the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Stayed for workClean tidy well presented. The staff were friendly. The food, though limited, was very good. There is a limited selection of draft beers at the bar.I will definitely use this hotel again if I am in the area.

If you'd like to experience a solid 10 star hotel stay, visit Ramada by Wyndham Bristol West.Really clean rooms, quiet, and the services are a 1 minute walk as the hotel is right next to them! The staff was very polite and always there to help with any of my enquiries.Thank you

I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the rooms are, no traffic noise whatsoever. Friendly staff, easy parking, quick check in. Breakfast ample- cost $10.95.Fan in room and a heater.

Friendly staff. Good food for a brilliant price, and the room was spacious and clean. Double walk-in shower and I think a lovely kingsize bed unlike the small double beds most hotels provide nowadays. Walkable distance to the WelcomeBreak.

Stayed over while driving to Cornwall, the drive overall takes 6-7 hrs so a comfort stop on the way was needed. Considering the price the rooms were nice, in good standard. The staff were very helpful an catered to our needs with dog food needing to be kept cool.
