We were double booked and had no where to stay. Craig and his team looked after us and sorted lovely comfortable , good value rooms for us. And a cracking full English in the morning!!! Thank you The Modbury Inn!!

The Modbury Inn
We stayed here whilst attending a friend's wedding nearby. We had struggled to get a taxi sorted to bring us back in the evening, and when Craig heard about this he offered to come and pick us up himself. Good as his word, at 11.30pm he went out of his way to drive ten minutes up the road to collect us and save us from having to walk home in the dark. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic local pub.They are doing £12.50 on all main meals and free ice cream for kids in January!It was so nice to come in and support our local businesses and see it so busy!!!Great food at good (unbeatable) value.Family friendly and so accommodating.There was a little wait for food, as they had more in than expected, but seeing a local business busy in this climate is great and something that we were happy to wait for.We’ll keep coming back and keep supporting our community. Thanks all.

Very friendly, efficient and professional service. Great location and place. The food was absolutely beautiful and the most difficult part was choosing what to have. All the dishes were freshly and perfectly cooked and clean plates all round. Dessert menu also mouth watering. For the standard of food, prices were also very reasonable. We’re going back in a couple of days.

Love this pub! We live locally and cannot fault it. The staff, service and quality of food is wonderful and Craig and Leah are truly excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble.We highly recommend the Modbury Inn and booking a table if you wish to eat.

I booked 3 nights stay for my son and daughter in law - their room was immaculate and superbly comfortable.The breakfasts were delicious and generous and Craig and his family and staff welcoming and kind.An excellent pub and accommodation far better than any Inn I have stayed in.I would definitely recommend The Modbury Inn.

A delightful old pub/hotel/restaurant. Family run, all the staff were friendly and professional. Rooms comfortable and big enough. The food is wonderful with plenty of choice for all especially breakfast.The local are friendly and happy to chatter.Best I've been in for a long while and largely due to the hard work and dedication of the owners.
