I have been a customer of Steve from SDW Plumbing for many years. He has been prompt and courteous at all times,that I have needed his assistance. Furthermore he has always been available to answer any queries that I have had regarding plumbing and been able to offer advice and assistance over the telephone without issue. A highly recommended plumber who turns up when planned, and does an excellent job when he arrives. I have recommended him to many of my family members, and friends without issue.

Trying to destroy someone’s work reputation because of being a poor loser is pretty disgusting behaviour. Please don’t take his review seriously, Steve is an upfront, honest and polite guy, an excellent and reliable plumber/heating engineer, as you can see from his other reviews from many happy customers

I am extremely impressed with Steve. He responded quickly and efficiently to all of my work requests. Went out of his way to repair faulty items rather than simply replace them. He also took time to source and price goods on my behalf. Excellent communication and regular updates. A skilled professional whom I would highly recommend.

Had a few tradesmen round recently and been pretty good in general. But Steve has gone above and beyond what I expected hence the review. Very friendly and knowledgeable and turned up when he said he was going too and a fair price too boot. Any more work that I need doing I will be calling on Steve.

We would recommend Steve and Sons to anyone! We have had a combi boiler installed, and serviced regularly over the past 3 years, as well as trouble shooting and problem solving ,Steve is very practical and thoughtful. Actually he goes out of his way to help we'd say . Oh and the quality of the pipework is so good , I felt that it needed to be on show and not behind the door of the unit!No worries from us , thanks Steve and sons , highly recommended.Gary and Jean age 69+ Neath .

Steve provided a first class service. Amended and replaced a faulty expansion vessel after previous plumber had fitted the incorrect size for the system. Gives good advice on heating and plumbing solutions. Will definitely use Steve from now on and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to friends and family. Thank you Steve.

I've used Steve now for a good few years. He's dedicated to his customers and always maintains a top level of quality and service. He's top bloke, very polite, respectful and knowledgeable. He always does a fantastic job and I would certainly recommend Steve to anyone. first class work and service.

I would like to thank Steve Josh and Doug for the work they carried out on my house replacing my combi boiler.professional from start to finish.From the estimate to fitting only took 5 days no mess explaining how the new boiler worked.Very punctual and true professionals going above and beyond Doug also fixed my kitchen mixer tap.I can highly recommend this company and will use them for all my plumbing and servicing in the future.Thank you very much lads for a job well done

I've just finished a court claim with Mr Williams, which he won, based on a disputed amount on an escalated invoice.Mr Wiliams provided me with a price range of £90-180 for a job, then half way though the job, he said the work may cost extra, with the sink off and my tenants in the propertyWhen the invoice came over the total cost was £270. When I queried Mr Williams about the increased charges, he failed to answer my questions and instead threatened me with court, so I agreed to go. There was no explanation offered for the extra work, and the invoice had no extra detail on it, so I couldn't see how I could be wrong.Instead of taking me to court, Mr Williams then began sending me with emails, creating versions of events that were not true;- he said the job was never described to him as a cut and fit job, yet the text messages show here that it was in writing many times.- he claimed he added extra to the invoice for cleaning parts that I had cleaned myself.- he claimed that the prices were estimates only, but he never once used the word estimate before the job started.- he claimed the price was labour only, but he never once said labour only before the job started.- he claimed he allocated only 3 hours at £180, and because he was there 6 hours (I recall it was more like 4-5) he waa justified in charging more.As none of this was given to me before the job started, I agreed let's go to court.Over the course of 9 months, Mr Williams provided multiple witness statements to the court, with his story changing and contradicting itself to provide a winning version of events against my evidence. By the time we got to court, Mr Williams had updated so many times that his story was completely different to the one I disagreed with when he threatened me with court, and all submitted past the deadlines set by the court, which I still have no idea why they accepted.Ultimately he won on a technically on attempting to prove he did extra work;- Fitting isolation valves that I already had in place, which i queried many times but he never answered, and he couldn't remember whether he replaced or not!!- Extra costs for difficulty parking (he parked right outside but admittedly in someone else's bay), having to climb 4 flights of stairs, and the current condition of my worktop (nothing wrong with it he cut out the bad part as per my measurements).Because these things could be classed as unforeseen, even though I sent him photos and a full description, the judge stated they could be added.Mr Williams said in court I didn't respond to your queries about your invoice
