YOTELAIR Gatwick

My partner and I had a cancelled flight in Amsterdam and had to fly to Gatwick in the early morning before a later flight tonight back home. As we were exhausted I booked us into one of the pods here and we were both pleasantly surprised! For what it is, you get enough for your money, priced at £49.00 for 4 hours. We took the first available pod which was bunk beds which are extremely comfy, a TV, long mirror, a big enough shower and toilet with sink. The room is all black out so easy to fall asleep and there's a cool added feature of mood lights for ambient lighting.. We got a brilliant kip and are energised for the next wait on the flight home. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to pass some time and rest a few hours!

Fantastic hotel, outstanding staff. Big thank you to Nathan! I was honestly impressed. After my airline cancelled my flight and put me on one 12 hours later, I was desperate to find somewhere quiet to rest as I was heavily sleep deprived after 3 days of very little sleep and the idea of being in a loud busy airport for 12 more hours destroyed me. Luckily I found YOTEL and even better it was easy to get to, it was in terminal which gave me great peace of mind and didn’t drain my energy more, I was able to speak directly to a member of staff when I called for directions and everything went extremely smoothly. Thank you to Nathan who was able to easily and clearly guide me through directions to the front desk, checked me in quickly and was on hand, friendly and efficient. The rooms are well equipped, clean and quiet- everything I needed. The bed was so comfy too! Couldn’t recommend more.

Perfect location if you have an early departure or a late arrival: the hotel is located at the South Terminal. Rooms are small cabins: good for a short stay. The bed is a bit small, I am 1.90 (tall but not a giant) and I did not fit fully under the blankets. A bit pricey for the service but again, a good choice.

Easily situated under arrivals gate.The staff were very helpful. Nice convenient pod with bed, shower and toilet. We flew into Gatwick in the morning, and were flying out in the evening. This suits our needs for a place to relax and freshen ourselves before our next flight. Minimum 4 hour stay anytime of the day. Very different from standard hotels. I would certainly recommend it.

How didn't I know about this place all thes years of travelling! The convenience was unbelievable. It also meant I was able to check my bags in the night before (6-9pm) so in the morning all I had to worry about was going through security.Theres a M&S, a whetherspoons, a Giraffe and a couple other restaurants inside the airport in close proximity so I ate well and got some juice and chilled.The only thing I will say is the room is tiny! Think Japan sleep pods. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed including free teas, coffee, hot chocolate and even herbal tea.For one night it was perfect. No rushing to the airport the morning of the flight ever again!

Clean, practical, comfortable, functional at a managable price point. Worth it for the benefit of being IN the airport. Free hot drinks available along with other comfort items (pillows, blankets, showercaps, shower gel, and shampoo etc). Very friendly, helpful staff.

Our flight to back home was cancelled. We had to stay a day longer at Gatwick Airport. We booked a room at this hotel and it was nice and very clean. The good part is that you get free coffee or tea, and that this hotel is at the airport. You don't have to travel to find another hotel when you are at Gatwick Airport.

Very convenient. Quite small - have to do a balancing act with your bags. The bed was very comfy and the shower was excellent. Service was also very good. I was woken a lot by various bumps and bangs as other people around me came and went during my overnight stay. The room was also poorly lit. It could be easy to misplace something.

I’d never stayed in a pod hotel before so was a little apprehensive but it worked out perfectly and I’d certainly consider again. Access is via a quick and easy lift journey from the arrivals section of the terminal so couldn’t be quicker when arriving off a flight. The welcome from reception was fantastic with a complementary bottle of water and the check in process was completed within seconds and I was within my room in no more than a minute after arriving; fantastic!The room was small as expected but surprisingly comfortable. The TV at the end of the comfortable bed was a suitable size and worked well, there were loads of electric plugs and small bedside shelf. The bathroom area acted more as a wet room but the shower was pretty decent and toiletries were adequate. Checking out was just as quick as the arrival which was bliss.Overall it suited my needs very well, but my only issue was the price - you are really paying for the convenience. For the same price there were a number of nice traditional hotels surrounding the airport, so I’d certainly be dissuaded if I was there for anything more than a few hours stopover. However for that purpose it’s great!

We missed our flight and Had to stay in Gatwick on the Airport for the night. So we got a room at the yotel. It is really really tiny. But it has a bed, a toilet, TV, a mirror and a shower. And it is really Clean. The employees are really nice and helpful, and you also get a free Coffee or Tea at Night and in the morning. And If you pay a little extra you also get a warm meal. It was perfect for us and we Had a good night.
