Lost my Oyster card, thanks to the help of one lovely employee I got it back. Had a great chat and experience. Although someone else tried to turn me away until I said I was tracking it with an AirTag so I think their organisation system could be a bit more thorough. Also it’s impossible to call them so I just had to show up

Job wise: Applied and got through my interview for the apprenticeship to become a bus driver.Went for the medical test, the doctor was rude. I failed on the urine/drugs test. Now i do not smoke marijuana at all, but i take cbd oil each morning as a vitamin, so that failed the drugs test, which i had no idea would happen.I explained this to the supervisor, but he explained i would have to pay £150 to appeal it and cannot apply for another year.Shame on you and Go Ahead, absolute disgrace, the test should be able to differentiate!

Had my assessment here today. Nothing but positive vibes.. lovely staff who wished me well for my test, especially the men.A few advised me not to apply for a driver job in the buses as it's no place for a woman which offended me on so many levels,However today proved everything wrong. Looking forward to my training.

When I was unemployed these people would consider my application to work as A Bus Driver as long as I could demonstrate the focus and competence they needed to train me. I actually tried even as many as 3 times while I was unemployed. Each time they gave me a fair chance. As it turns out only much later things changed enough for me to continue however what lovely people to help the community like this.
