Any fears I had about going to Judo evaporated quickly. I was made to feel at ease by the warm welcome, and the fun, safety focused induction lesson made me wanting more.The superior knowledge of the instructors allows all levels of fitness to participate in this great sport. While the sport is challenging, the attention to safety, the amazing instructors, and not least, the great camaraderie, ensure I will be returning to this place for a long time

Excellent traditional Judo! Can't leave a class without feeling great!The classes are taken very seriously, it's beginner friendly and the instructors are phenomenal. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into shape, have fun, and learn something new while doing it!

Brilliant club with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Extremely detailed teaching with a personal approach to make learning judo easy for even the complete novice such as myself! Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn traditional Judo in a fun and friendly environment.

I've started at Sobell Judo Club in the past month and I've loved it so far - the teachers are patient, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful (especially with someone like myself who is not particularly athletic).Each class has good variety and goes by incredibly quickly.What I especially appreciated is that they weren't pushy about you signing up like some places would be - they were keen to ensure you felt right and happy before continuing.I would highly recommend - especially to someone who has not done much if any martial arts.

An amazing club, with a very high level of intricate and clear instruction from warm up through to technique.Always a buzzing and friendly atmosphere, with Sensei’s vast array of jokes keeping spirits up. Go train at Sobell Judo Club.

I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a friendly, professional, and enjoyable place to train judo. I immediately felt welcomed and I love the club's atmosphere. Furthermore, Sampson, the head instructor, is incredibly knowledgeable and breaks things down so that the techniques could be easily understood and executed.

I’ve been a member of this club for the last six months and its been incredible so far. The teaching is rich, thorough and fun.As a new starter, the induction is a great opportunity to get an intro into what the classes are like and get a feel for whether you like judo.All in all, i’m very happy to be on my judo journey with this club and definitely recommend any practicing judoka to train with us.

Highly recommended, Sobell is definitely the best and the busiest Judo Club in London where you can practice traditional Japanese Judo.A very professional team of high-ranked instructors with many years of Judo behind them are always ready to train people at any level.Training myself here as well for years and it has always been my second home.
