My friends and I had the pleasure of dealing with Lyndsay of King & Co Properties whilst seeking a student rental. Lyndsay was by far and away the friendliest and most professional agent we spoke to in Selly Oak. The service we received from King & Co was equally excellent, worlds apart from that of other agents in the area. I would highly recommend Lyndsay and King & Co Properties to anyone looking for student accommodation.

Myself and my housemates were very anxious around finding a house next year but King and Co’s friendly, no pressure attitude put our minds at ease. Our viewings with Lyndsay weren’t rushed we could take as much time as we needed which cannot be said for other estate agents in Selly Oak! We managed to find our dream property and any and all questions and queries were answered before any contracts or deposits were exchanged, the transparency and honesty we received was a breath of fresh air. Lyndsay was always on hand to contact if I needed and the office was more than happy, even encouraging, for me to pop in during any opening hours and I was always greeted with a smile by all staff members. I was made to feel relaxed as any issues made on our part (incorrect emails etc) were sorted immediately and I was assured this was ‘no hassle’. This team are attentive, caring and as a first year who had no clue what on earth I was doing they provided guidance and unbiased advice. I highly recommend King and Co properties and I hope to be able to stay with this company for the entirety of my university stay!

Such a helpful and friendly team! The best we have worked with in Selly Oak for student housing so far.Lots of great properties for cheap prices. Their capacity is shown through the current tenants being so happy to answer any questions we had and being comfortable in their homes. Definitely recomend to students looking for a house around UoB!

Really helpful!Phil was really easy to talk to and friendly. He was very responsive over text and showed us some great properties.We did not feel any pressure to sign for a house, although he was very helpful when we did sign.

Had a lot of help from Phil Jnr in getting a house right at the end of the year when there weren’t too many options available. They worked out of hours to help us secure the property and maintained great communication throughout the process. Looking forward to my year with them as my letting agents, and would recommend to students who want a hassle free tenancy.

As first year students trying to find second year housing these guys were amazing! So so helpful and Lindsay was super friendly and informative. Couldn’t have asked for an easier process!

This is a lovely family run business that goes out of its way to not scam students unlike other estate agents in the area. Lyndsay was really helpful in making sure our contract came through quickly and replied out of hours to make sure this would happen. Would thoroughly recommend and am myself renewing with them next year

Lyndsey was great when taking us around the property we liked, was very informative and quick to help us sort out making the house ours for the next year.
