These people have a bad reputation amongst students for a reason. Avoid them if you can! Everyone at the office was really helpful. Ellie was absolutely amazing! She got us sorted with our house really quickly and was so lovely.

Super helpful from start to finish. We gave our requirements and Olivia took us to view our favourites and answered any questions we had along the way. Super helpful and we found our perfect house!

The people at Oakmans are lovely. Jai was extremely helpful and took us to multiple viewings on the two days we visited the office. He was honest with us and wanted to make sure we were happy with what we were getting. Big thanks to Sam also who found the ideal house for us in our budget

We were showed houses, we picked ones we liked and Alex and Ellie gave us a tour straight away! They were efficient, friendly, and helpful and now our house is sorted for next year.

I am begging any students to avoid this estate agency like the plague !! The major problems I’ve had with them and the house has taken such a huge toll on my emotional well-being and is still ongoing despite moving in over 4 months ago.They take MONTHS to address maintenance problems, will ignore emails and calls also.The house was not professionally cleaned upon arrival and the garden was hazardous, could not even enter.They will lie to you and also make up lies and false accusations against you too.They also fail to meet multiple HMO property laws.

Amazing and efficient service!! I interjected Alex doing a viewing at our current property and asked if she could help with a group of 6 moving from a 5 bed. I gave her my contact number and she contacted me the same day making a further appointment. Alex gave us a list of properties at our price range and took us around the ones we had chosen. She listened to our queries and made suggestions, but there was no pushing into a certain property, or trying to haggle us to an higher price. Alex is very efficient and works hard at her job!!

Jay and Tom were really helpful and made the experience very comforting and hassle free. They offered brilliant advice about the houses we were looking at and offered alternative suggestions. Overall the experience was quick and easy and I’m really pleased

Would give zero stars if possible. They are really terrible.Poor communication - they nag and nag at you to respond then they take ages to respond which is just a double standard.Very unhelpful - they do not take you seriously when asking questions.They do not answer questions clearly - I asked for a clear explanation on a clause in a contract and they just responded with “this is what it says in the contract”. No explanation at all!They are very rude and make you feel stupid.They try to blame you for their errors - they didn’t send me the contract to read and sign for 3 days, my friend received hers straight away. When I questioned this they accused me of giving the incorrect details. It turns out they just couldn’t type my email in correctly. They missed out a letter.This agency has a bad reputation and everyone tells you to avoid them.

Oakman's Estate agents were great to work with, as they provided fast, easy to work with service with staff that were helpful and friendly. Walked in without a clue what we wanted and after some virtual tours and a few viewings we ended up booking the perfect house for our group in 3 hours. Couldn't recommend more for students looking for their ideal house. Thank you Oakman's.
